Great hotel for a short stay. A 5-10 minutes walk to the town centre. Rooms basic but clean (lovely soft towels). Excellent breakfast which is included in the room price. Would thoroughly recommend for a short break. more

The first thing that greeted us was the smell! I was staying here with my two daughters aged 24 and 14, it was a girly weekend going to see Peter Andre in concert. The cost was £75 b&b. The room was very tatty and tired, the shower room had expanding foam everywhere and was grubby, the shower mat was disgusting... more

Just returned from the Safari Bistro Hotel and it's an excellent budget hotel. Fantastic location within a five minute walk of all the centre of Bournemouth. The hotel is brilliant value for money at only £50 for a Friday night stay. The owners are friendly and made us feel welcome when we arrived. On site free car parking was a... more

We stayed in the safair hotel on a friday night and had a lovely time. The beds were comfortable (which takes a lot for me to say!) As we were near the town i expected it to be a little noisy but was pleasntly surprised with not much noise at all! The breakfast was very unusal as we had choices... more

This hotel was advertised as luxury with tastefully decorated rooms! Well there was nothing of luxury about it and as for the decor, when was it done last, it was awful!! Our double glazed windows didn't shut properly as they needed attention, so we found it very noisy until the early hours. The food wasn't up to standard. We were... more

Dirty little hotel. On arrival the place looked small and a bit unkempt, but i have stayed at hotels in Bournemouth before and they all look a bit worn in places so we decided to give the place a chance. The reception was dusty, old fashioned and very tiny. It was literally a cupboard under the stairs! The hotel owner... more

The most disappointing hotel I have ever had the misfortune to come across. A pit of disppear, a complete hole! You couldn't pay me to stay here again! It was dirty throughout, animals were running over the tables - eating areas and the customer service from the owners was dispicable! The room was tiny and our 'doube bed' was two... more

Have just returned from a weekend away and stayed at the safari hotel for 2 nights, was sorely disapointed upon arrival. The images and description was NOT anything like the hotel! Everything old and dirty and looked like it needed to be binned or replaced. Our room was awful, dirty, crappy old carpet coming away from the floor, suspect looking... more
