Just returned from 6 days at Bournemouth Sands Hotel, had a very good stay, with very friendly staff, especially Marcus, our waiter, who is a credit to the Daish company. Room was very big and airy, and could not fault it . Will continue to use Daish's as they are certainly good value for money.

Knew we'd drawn the short straw when we realised our room was next to the lift. The room was a reasonable size but with a blown double glazed window, only a saniflow loo & cubbyhole as a wardrobe then noise from evening entertainment we asked to be moved. Our new room was perfect No.320.

We stayed or 4 nights on a self drive break through daish's. we only chose self drive as they were not travelling from the south east for the week we wanted. The room we had (room 202) was larger than usual with a large bay window. The room and bathroom seemed to have been recently redecorated but not brilliantly if... More

We requested a low floor near the entertainment. Although a lady rang me to discuss this, we ended up on the 2nd floor, which was a lot of stairs!! The room was large, warm & comfortable, albeit a bit drab. The only problem we had was the shower tray didn’t drain away, whilst showering. We stayed in an exec room... More

The worst hotel room I have ever stayed in. It was so small it was more like a cell.It had a small slit for a window.there was no curtain in the bathroom.it was not very clean either.the food is acceptable and the entertainment good. The coach trips out are good value

Just returned from a 4 night break with 2 friends in the Sands Hotel and it was excellent. All staff very pleasant and helpful. I had a good size single room with a bath. The room was warm, the bed was comfortable and plenty of hot water. We were all very satisfied with the food, I am a vegetarian and... More

I went with 3 friends for a turkey & tinsel. For 2 of us it was our 4th visit. The food is acceptable if you remember your not paying 5 star money. Unfortunately one our party was not best pleased with her vegetarian food. It appeared to be a rehash of left overs. It was mentioned to our waiter whether... More
