A real family atmosphere, very friendly and helpful hosts. The breakfast was so filling that I kept going for most of the day. The service was excellent and the cleanliness first class. A lovely walk down to Alum Chine through the beautiful wooded valley but 80 steps down and of course 80 steps back but by taking time it was... More

We stayed here for 3 nights! It's location is fab! Only 3 min drive to town. Very hospitable family who run the B&B much like a family home! You have your own key to get in and out and it's very peaceful with no hen or stags staying! Me and my partner felt the room and the B&B itself was... More

Lets do the positives. The breakfast is quite good and there is good parking. The hotel is in a great position near the beach and the television in the room is outstanding - it is the only one that on which I have seen Andy Murray win Wimbledon. It started badly. We rang the door bell 4 times and in... More

Unfortunately the weather was not good for 2 of the days which restricted my touring. The Newlands is located just out of Bournemouth at Alum Chime however it is only a short walk to the beach and about 20 min walk along the beach...
