My wife and I stayed over a weekend recently and were bowled over! The Marriott is in an absolutely superb cliff-top position overlooking the seafront and has extensive views to the east and west. We thought the whole place was superb - from the moment we were greeted by the friendly and efficient reception staff, we could not have been... More

We were staying in Bridport and decided to tag two extra nights onto our holiday and decided that the Marriott had a very good reputation so booked it. We decided to opt for a suite (as we had a 4 year old in tow) and needed the extra space and at £200 per night expected it to be fairly decent.... More

Currently staying here for five nights on business. I have to say that I had high expectations of this hotel after positive experiences of Marriott Hotels in the past. Sadly the reality has been a dull and dingy room with tired decor, faded grandeur and dated furnishings some of which look ready for the skip and very poor considering the... More

Dear Mr. Chalkley, Thank you for feeding back to us on your experience so far. The hotel and in fact the town is very busy this week on the back of the Royal College of Nursing event happening in town as you know. I have called the hotel and understand Adrian has managed to move you to the main building... More

We enjoyed our stay here. Not cheap but a great location and good quality hotel. Our room (Bungalow) was a good size, comfortable with a good bath and shower. We stayed a Saturday night and took our twins swimming on the Sunday morning. We were the only ones in the pool looking out over the bay. Breakfast was excellent and... More

All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful during my stay - from receptionists remembering my name to night porters quickly helping my sister during the night when her son was unwell. They were particularly kind to my elderly mum, and allocated us a wonderful sea view room. We loved the pools and the breakfast buffet was excellent. We hope... More

After checking out of another hotel in the area due to a disappointing experience, we were welcomed by Alexis and Rozerta. The General Manager should be proud of the team he has on the front desk they are personable, listened and instantly made us feel welcome. The rooms are a good size with everything you would expect. We were in... More

Went last week for afternoon tea, food was fantastic staff could not be more then friendly, the only down side was a guest who was shouting about tea cakes and been rude to the staff. Apart from this a had a lovely afternoon with my mum and the view from the window was fantastic

Hotel is well located with a wonderful views. The staff were efficient, courteous and very helpful when dealing with an unruly group of senior golfers! The room was clean and well maintained. Bar service and breakfast were good. Car parking tight but well managed!

Visited last weekend, booked via Expedia. I paid for Superior Room with Sea View, but was placed in Cottage. I booked on purpose in the main building to have some of fantastic sea views and "upgrade" to cottage was not welcome at all as sea views were not great. At the end of the day if I wanted cottage I... More
