Paid GBP105 so I expect more for a hotel for this money - the bathroom was grotty with mould, damaged door and bath panel and ageing shower curtain. Room was spacious and clean but fittings were worn. The main hotel facilities were okay but also showing signs of age. Good location - quiet and leafy with beach not far away.... more

stayed at carrington for 1 night only, thankgod. I found the pool area to be quite dirty and the mens changing rooms smelt terrible of urine, disgusting in fact. At dinner they placed a plate in front of my 7yr old that nearly took the skin off of my fingers so i had to drop the plate, mine and my... more

Came to the Carrington for a dance weekend. Stayed in Room 259. Nice room, spotlessly clean. The hot water was only tepid and did come out in strange colours. The hotel is made up of several houses connected by corridors. There were always people wandering around lost. Decor was a bit tired but overall the hotel was nice and clean.... more

Just returned from the Carrington after a weekend break with my wife (57) and grandchildren (13 & 12) and had a great time. I am just a couple of months away from receiving my bus pass. Reception was speedy, friendly and informative. Bedroom was extremely spacious (355) with a large kingsize and adequate bunk beds for the children. Good selection... more

I stayed at this hotel for three nights in order to attend a conference nearby. This hotel is not worth its 3 stars at all. On day one, the water in the bath and basin came out dark brown and yellow later turning to green. The porter was sent up to look at it. A very young fellow came up... more

What a lovely hotel, the food, the service, the friendliness of the staff and the amenities were great. We had a lovely family room which was very comfortable and clean. The food was very tasty and well presented and the service in the restaurant was efficient and our waiter was very obliging nothing was too much trouble. Great hotel for... more

We only stayed one night at the hotel. It was ok but nothing special. Definately not worth the full price they quote for staying there of £125 per night! We booked last minute and got a cheaper rate. The service was good - again nothing special. I think all of the staff are foreign but spoke English quite well. The... more

I was in Bournemouth on business for a few days and my company booked me into this hotel. The hotel is a 20 minute walk from the town centre in a poor part of the town. There seemed to be a lot of vagrants walking around in the area carrying bags of cheap booze. The hotel itself is in need... more

My family and I have stayed at many hotels over the year and I have to say this has to be by far one of the best. Nice Clean Room, Food Fantastic, Great Services .. most of all the staff were amazing - nothing was too much trouble and they always smiled and my children loved our waitress who made... more
