Stayed here mid August with 2 friends and a 18 month old baby. Booked a family room with breakfast. Arrived at 11am and hotel allowed us to park the car even though check in isn't until 3pm. We returned back to the hotel at 4pm and check in was very quick and problem free. Room was spacious and they provided... More

Really disappointing. We visit friends and family in Bournemouth/Poole all the time and often stay in local hotels. We had to book last minute this time round and as this hotel had quite a bit of availability and the photos looked nice, we opted to stay here. This place was pretty much the same price as Harbour Heights and The... More

Have just returned from a very disappointing visit to The Royal Norfolk Hotel. Paid for a four star and ended up with a very low 3 star room. Was treating the family to a bit of luxury only to find we were happier in the Travel Lodge on the M1 last month. We booked a family room but were given... More

Really nice hotel with friendly staff. Room was spacious and clean. Food in the restaurant was good, likewise the breakfast provided. The pool was nice and warm and hotel positioned in good location. Would definitely go back. Never gave 4 stars as problem with toilet flusher but got sorted in good time.

Stayed at the Norfolk on 8th August 2014 and it was not pleasant check in was not until 3pm which was a little late for my liking. During check in a manager asked the receptionist to do something completely different and she tended to that while trying to multitask my check in. The manager seemed completely oblivious to the fact... More

We arrived at 3pm exactly after a long journey, however our rooms were not ready. 25 minutes later we were told that the room is ready, but given no direction on how to get there and no help was offered with our bags. Not a good 1st impression. The room was OK but had a TV that is perhaps older... More

We have stayed at the Norfolk royal 4 times before and each time enjoyed our stay. This time we payed a little more than we wanted too. All of the staff especially the bar, restaurant staff were exemplary. Great hotel would like if car parking was included for dinner, bed and breakfast customs. Would highly recommend

Stayed for a night and was very pleased with the room. Stayed in a family room for four, which had a lovely queen sized bed and two foldaways. There was tea, coffee and hot chocolate provided in the room, just what we needed after long day out. Ensuite shower and bath was lovely and clean with plenty of complimentary toiletries.... More

Arrived at the hotel with a friendly welcome, although parking is not inclusive of my room rate, considering of what the hotel costs it should be included to make you feel more looked after? We went up to our room after parking and was pleasantly surprised with big Telly and soft white bed sheets. Decided to explore Bournemouth and eat... More
