I was invited to a business lunch at the Norfolk Royale. Little did I realise that it would be a barbecue in the hotel's garden. No ordinary barbecue either as the main dish was lobster thermidore that was beautifully cooked and presented. For dessert an eton mess followed. The weather was perfect in Bournemouth with a lovely blue sky making... More

My partner and I enjoyed afternoon tea at the Norfolk Royale. It is very well situated, a short stroll from the shops, gardens and beach opposite the most fabulous art deco building. Inside we were greeted warmly by members of staff who were friendly and efficient. We were lucky enough to have a sunny day and sat in the gardens... More

From the moment you step into the hotel, you are greeted with the most warming atmosphere. The staff are so hospitable and friendly and to be greeted by the General Manager Simon Scarborough is amazing. Whether it be for a long weekend stay, afternoon tea, a function, dinner or merely just a drink at the bar you the staff cannot... More

My wife, two daughters and I had the great pleasure of experiencing afternoon tea at the Norfolk. My wife booked in advance as a bit of fun and to see if you can have a half decent afternoon tea outside of London and too our delight you can. We were greeted as we came in by Simon, who we discovered... More

As a visitor to Bournemouth since being a tot myself & love to bring my kids. For the past 5 or 6 years we have stayed at the Norfolk Royale during the October half term & they love both the hotel & the town. We usually stay in one of the 1st floor front bedrooms which has plenty of room... More

Stayed here for our Honeymoon, 3 nights, which wasn't too expensive as there was an offer on more than two nights at the time. Hotel has parking and is right by the shops. Lovely big rooms and Molten Brown toiletries (though they are full size so not for keeping unless you pay for them). Our room was opposite the church... More

Stayed at the Norfolk Royale for two nights on the Gold Voucher package. Our family room was of a good size and well-equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, plenty of biscuits and Molton Brown toiletries. There was a fold down bunk bed which caused great excitement! The food was excellent and well presented, with a good choice for each... More

The room I was given was slightly dated much like the majority of the hotel. The breakfast was enjoyable! Hotel also has a small swimming pool. More

We stayed at the hotel for a couple of nights with our daughter. Our room was lovely, large and clean, but we did run out of toiletries which were not replenished. We were unhappy with the service in the restaurant for several reasons. Our evening meal was rushed on both nights because the staff were setting the tables for breakfast,... More

Stayed at the Norfolk Royale with a friend for 2 nights in February and we were very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel, the facilities and the food. Staff were most attentive and helpful from the minute we arrived until we left - nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was ideally situated for visiting Poole and Christchurch (which... More
