Our first time at the Norfolk Royale and we intend to make it an annual event. From the minute we arrived we were taken by the relaxed atmosphere, caring and attentive staff. Our room was fantastic, a comfortable bed, ample storage for clothing and possessions. The bathroom was spacious with large corner bath and seperate shower cubicle. Food and drink... More

This was our second visit to the Norfolk Royale and again it met all expecytations. The staff were professional, friendly and helpful everywhere within the hotel. Food was excellent and would recommend the pork loin!! Delicious and very succulent! The hotel itself is in a great location within walking distance of the beach and shops. Thank you everyone for making... More

Hotel is nice, but dated in reception, with carpet coming up. Staff are all very friendly. Rooms on 1st floor are not refurbished and therefore should be avoided. Jacuzzi is in much need of repair. Looked dirty and nasty, we didn't use it! Bare closed at 10.20 when we returned to hotel after seeing a concert at the bic. We... More

Pro's Really nice hotel. Excellent location. Our room was suberb. Reception staff and porter staff very helpful Cons. 14 pounds per night parking for guests is a bit expensive Breakfast staff were only average. Young and inexperienced Enjoyed our stay. Would definitely go back. Just found that the staff at breakfast time didn't know how to look after a family... More

This hotel is lovely, and I feel like I'm doing it a disservice, but there were a few things about it that didn't quite meet the standards I'd expected. The staff were polite on arrival, but trying to get anything afterwards proved a little difficult, for example, a spare blanket. They stated they did not have a spare blanket in... More

My friends and I have just returned from our stay at the Norfolk. It is a beautiful and charming building and is as pictured. The rooms are a bit tired and in need of a lot of TLC. Although our room was similar to those pictured, I am sure it has not been updated as we had an old box... More

I was attracted to booking this hotel by the picture of the exterior and the amenities on offer. Both proved delightful. We were also really pleased with the size and comfort of the bed, the full range of toiletries and size of towels. The pool is a leisure pool, not meant for swimming, but has a great whirlpool hot-tub attached.... More

This is our third stay at the Norfolk Royal in recent times staying for four nights on a Peel Hotels Gold. On arrival a suite was offered as complimentary on the 1st floor overlooking the swimming pool, our suite was in general well appointed complete with a television in the lounge and one in the bedroom, unfortunately both television could...
