So we stayed here for 3 nights. Staff were friendly and greeted us well. Location was perfect with walking distance to the beach and town center. Breakfast buffet was pretty good also. The parking can be a nightmare within the hotels car park, especially during the weekend. The beds were very uncomfy and the window hardly opens soo much which... More

I booked Bournemouth for this special weekend as neither of us had been together. I booked the queens hotel for one night as the prices for two nights were incredibly high. We arrived early and we were welcomed by very attentive staff at reception. They informed us the room was not ready but we were able to leave the car... More

My partner booked a nights stay at this hotel as a surprise for my Birthday, we checked in, which was nice and quick, and found we were in a 4th floor room which is the top floor of this Hotel. Lovely spacious room, with two chairs and a table, tv, coffee/tea and a very clean bathroom. Plenty of hangers in... More

For the price, £135 for a twin room (inc breakfast), it's not bad value for money if you want to be close to the coast and not too far from central Bournemouth. The staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfast was pretty good. It's obviously popular as the hotel was completely full. On the downside it feels very tired... More

Hotel staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. The leisure facilities would be excellent if the gym equipment was more updated (great indoor swimming pool etc). The buffet breakfast was fantastic and plentiful, but regarding the evening meal, you'd be better off finding a restaurant outside the hotel. Unfortunately, because of the age of this hotel, there is no... More

Thank you for your review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Bournemouth itself does sit on the top of the East Cliff and West Cliff areas and most hotels are an uphill walk from the beach. We are very fortunate to have a Cliff Lift which is stone's throw away and takes you directly to the beach... More

This is a difficult hotel to review. I really want to say good things about it - but that's quite challenging! Location - good for the able-bodied. The 'convenient' lift to the beach was expensive and stopped running at 4.30pm - in fact, as I was with my sister who has mobility problems, none of the local facilities were within... More

Thank you for your lovely review. Obviously we want to respond to all your points as you've so kindly taken the time to review in so many areas. Our Forever Gorgeous Day Spa is indeed in the basement level of the hotel and access for those with mobility needs is through the fire escape and we are very happy to... More

A twin room came with two of the smallest beds I've slept in a while. Even with the windows open, the rooms are hot. Exterior has good parking but needs a good deal of renovation. Spa is good and staff are very friendly even if the younger waiting staff seem a little out of their depth. Food is good for... More

Thank you for your review. Our twin rooms are set up with two standard size, single beds. Sorry if this wasn't what you expected. We are renovating many areas of the hotel at the moment, and each area is being looked at individually. We do hope to see you again in the future. More

Had a one night stay in the first week of July at the above with a few friends to celebrate the forthcoming wedding of my eldest son. The hotel is well situated a few minutes walk from the cliff path leading to Bournemouth's glorious beach and about 5 minutes walk to the town centre. The car park is extensive and... More

Thank you for your review. We appreciate your positive comments and are glad you enjoyed your stay in Bournemouth and at our hotel. We are very pleased with our refurbishment and as you can imagine, it takes some time to complete on such a large scale. We are still to refurbish some of the rooms and we would be only... More

I have stayed at this hotel a few times now, It is hit & miss on whether you get a half decent room. They are all quite dated but with some being better than others. They can get hot depending on whether you can open the window a decent amount. They have a reasonable indoor pool & spa which is... More

Stopped as a group of 6 golfers. They cater well for this type of clientele. Bar is good, food is ok but nothing special. Quality is inconsistent. Staff are very good and do their best in the circumstances. Senior management are ineffective and do not lead by example. Rooms are tired but clean. Hotel needs money spending on it. But... More
