Have just returned from a two night stay at The Cumberland. The whole stay was fantastic from start to finish. We were booked in by Julia on the reception and she was so helpful and friendly. Her service set the tone for the hotel. There are plenty of staff to assist and the service is 1st class! The food is... More

After a not very pleasant night in their sister hotel, The Cliffeside we spent 2 very nice night in The Cumberland. We didn't have a updated room, but it was large and spacious with a large bathroom too. The bed was as wide as it was long, a little hard and springy, but good enough to get a good nights... More

I have stayed here a few times and can't really fault the place too much, this time I went "All inclusive for two nights". Some observations are as follows. The All Inclusive package wasn't anything that special , to be honest unless you can down 10 pints between 5pm-9pm probably break even , the spirits are the local type found... More

I stayed here with my wife and two young children for our friends wedding in July (Ashley & Sadie smith). We were booked in here by the bride and thank god - what an amazing place. Love the Art Deco facade, love the pool, love the italian clerk at reception (my wife is Italian too). Everyone went out of their... More

We were kindly welcomed, our room was cozy and warm, and our special request of having chocolate muffins hidden in the room with clues leading to their whereabouts was executed perfectly. Location - great, breakfast - there was a wide variety to choose from and the hot food was hot, staff - kind. You won't be disappointed with a stay... More

This hotel is a good value option if you want to stay in Bournemouth. Rooms are dated and ours had no view it just looked directly into someone else's room. It was also very very hot as small windows and sun was shining into the room all afternoon but reception did bring a fan! Sea view rooms looked great but... More

We booked our evening wedding reception at the Cumberland hotel for Friday 11th July and stayed there with all of our wedding guests the night before the wedding and the night of the wedding. The hotel is amazing and it really felt like we had stayed in Miami for the weekend. The pool terrace was great, the staff were amazing... More

Booked three rooms for a special occasion weekend - double with terrace, double with balcony and twin. The twin was the most modern and looked good. The terrace room was dated and a bit of a disappointment, but at least the view was great and we were all able to sit outside there as long as it wasn't too windy.... More

We had a three day stay here and were staggered by the excellent service. Being disabled can be difficult but every request was fulfilled without a problem. The Art Deco decor was wonderful and our room was spacious and comfortable. The pool and poolside area was very attractive and the food was delicious. We had massages too which were fabulous... More
