Having just got back with a party of 109 Doncaster Rovers fans, we did not have one complaint abouth the hotel, the staff were very friendly, service was brilliant, and the food was superb. Management and staff could not do enough for us. kept the beer prices reasonable by extending the happy hour(used to the beer prices up North). when... More

Third or fourth visit to this hotel and the service remains at the high standard. All rooms clean and tidy, lovely food and good service with a smile. Handy location, parking, walks and sea views. For groups an excellent dance floor but a warm room for the dancers, take a fan. (I didn't but on the bright side lost a little... More

This was our first visit to this hotel and we were very impressed. The management did all they could to make sure that our weekend was a success. Being vegetarian meant that I was unable to eat most of what was offered, but the waiters had a word with the chef and a suitable alternative was found. Well done. More

We went with our small dog Bella to for 3 nights never having visited Bournemouth before. We were very impressed by both & will be back. The room was a bit dated and a little on the warm side for us but very clean, it'll be great when all rooms are refurbished. The breakfast was excellent and waiters very attentive. More

Booked a two night stay paid £120 . Would have been better at a travel inn! The hotel is very very dated, peeling wallpaper on the bedroom ceilings, we found an old dirty sock down the side of the dresser, the room was tiny and had too much furniture in for I've of room, the random table placed meant to get... Thank you for your negative review. Sorry that the hotel was not to your liking. We do have several rooms that are yet to be re-decorated and on this occasion yours was one on the program. All our rooms are different sizes as this is an older style hotel. You may have found that the breakfast was infact good value... More

Just returned from a long weekend at the Cliffeside. Booked the room on the internet, only had to pay £7.50 deposit, room total came to £50 per night for a sea view. Though the hotel has parking, both front and rear, both car parks were full every night with some guests having to park on the road, which is free... More

I booked a 3-night stay in a double-bed room through the hotel's own website and paid just £40 per night, including breakfast, VAT and service. I don't think I was officially entitled to it, but I got a full sea-facing room as well. The welcome was friendly and efficient. The public rooms all seemed to be quite recently redecorated and...
