My partner and I had a recent stay at the Cliffeside Hotel in Bournemouth. We stayed there for a 3 night break, which we most certainly needed! This hotel was in a perfect location for us - not too far from the town nor the beach, also great for walking down to the local restaurants and the bournemouth nightlife! We... more

All the staff was very friendly and could not do more to meet your needs. The receptionist were very friendly and helpful. Big thanks to Daniel who made... more

This hotel was very shabby and rooms were small. We stayed on a Friday and Saturday night and there was very loud music each night; until 1:00 A.M on the Saturday due to a wedding reception. Our rooms were actually vibrating from the music! Do not stay at this hotel at the weekend, especially if you have children, unless you... more

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel having read some other reviews for it. Yes the rooms could do with updating (and our room was rather small) but it was clean and comfortable. The bar and terrace were great areas to sit and relax. The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful (I think her name was Zoe). 2 down sides... more

This hotel is fantastic, really. The location was perfect for the town centre (only 5 minutes away). From the moment we walked in we were made to feel at home. We were offered a great deal for a sea view room Breakfast - The waiting staff were attentative, and we didn't have to ask for anything. We only stayed 2... more

We have just returned from an short break at the Cliffeside Hotel. The booking and reception staff were extremely helpful. Any queries we had were dealt with well. The room was fine, but had been refurbished in a fairly cursory way and a few repairs were necessary. The restaurant was really great and the managers and waiting staff excellent. My... more

booked for one night for a treat because we'd never been to Bournemouth before, we're farmers so a break is really a real treat. Had checked reviews before booking & was quite confident it would be a good hotel. The receptionists were very nice, our breakfast was good, but I think we must have had the worst room in the... more

Stayed here for the bank holiday weekend with family. Booked a family suite and we were shown to a ground floor room. The entrance was just off the reps meeting place. The suite was very nice - although surprisingly the double bed was in a very small room attached to a very large twin room - which the kids had!!... more

Spent the May Bank Holiday weekend here and found it to be very nice. there a a couple of places in the hotel that could do with a touch up but generally everything was very smart. The food was excellent. We were half board and really enjoyed our two evening meals. There was enough choice even to satisfy our fussy... more

No job was to much trouble. Friendly attentive reception agent and porter happy to help the moment I walked through the door. Room had brand new carpet and bunk beds for the kids. Restaurant managers friendly and also very good with the children. Great homely atmos for a short break holiday. Bar prices a bit high but being reduced soon.... more
