my wife and i stayed for a week in the hotel and we did not have any problems, our room was clean and the staff were very good.we have stayed at the hotel twice and we will be going again. we had no problems, however i think nearly all hotels should by now have new televisions.

On arrival we had a friendly greeting from the receptionist who directed us to our room. The corridor was dingy and in need of a fresh coat of paint, the room was a shock. The window had been left open, we discovered it was probably because it took two of us to close it. The red satin curtains have a... More

Disgusting hotel, dirty, grotty, room stunk of smoke, and when we checked in we saw one of the reception staff run in to the room on cctv and take load dirty mugs and rubbish out just before they gave us the keys. Walked in the room was just pure nasty, demanded and immediate refund and booked in to the cliffside... More

OMG! Staff are pleasant and helpful but not enough of them. Room/s - on the first night we had to stay in the room we were given. It was like a Sauna and the halls were roasting even though it was only 19 degrees outside. Could open window but because of the massive generator for the next door hotel was... More

where to begin, the staff were pleasant and helpful - we were given a room on the 2nd floor. on entering we thought it was a sauna, the heated towel rail in the -shower room- was boiling hot and was heating up the entire room. the shower room consisted of a washbasin on one side, then the hot towel rail-... This was a last minute booking ...all we needed was a place to lay our heads and somewhere to park the car. We checked in and reception staff were lovely, unfortunately the room wasn't! Ground floor overlooking car park and although large enough was musty smelling. I asked if it was possible to change and we were allocated a studio... More

Its not worth the money, way to expensive for the conditions it offers. Rooms in a bad maintenance state with tv which doesn't work, to have a shower you either have burning hot water or really cold, avoid top floors, very poor choice of food for breakfast Housekeeping I'm not sure if they actually know what that means, Overall appreciation:... Whilst a little tired this hotel is okay, the biggest problem is if you are roomed on the top floor, the windows only open about two inches and it is incredibility hot. Some guests even had to leave their hotel doors open to attempt to get air flowing. A fan was provided but this is not adequate. We had actually... More

Hotel is quite old and not in a central location - you need to walk some time to get in there. What I really liked: they upgraded me from single to a double room as per my request (they had availability on Sunday), the room was nice and spacious enough and the bed - huge! Very quiet location as far... More
