I have been here a few times with my family and it seems to be going down hill badly. To be greeted on check in by the most ignorant and obnoxious man called Andy really set the tone for my stay. We had a few queries and unfortunately every time we went to reception he was not helpful. The rooms... More

I had booked the hotel via booking.com, because this was the cheapest hotel in bournemouth. The hotel is near to the beach and they have ample of parking area. The only bad experience we had was that there was no hot water coming in our room. But overall the room was good enough and the staff was cooperative.

The first night I stayed at the hotel the room was hot, stuffy and generally bad. I went to the reception to see if I could find out how to turn the hearing down the reception staff offered to move me, I moved to a fantastic room (I did pay budget price for the stay) couldn't praise them high enough

Booked via booking. Com for 1 night 20th February. Supposed to be executive double. Room had thick layer of dust on every surface and food under dressing table. Kettle worked intermittently accompanied by electrical sparking noises from adjacent wall! Hairdryer not working, no plug wires dissappearing through a wall. Tv position where you could not watch it. Some kind of... More

The worst 'hotel' I have ever stayed at. I have seen cleaner, nicer hostels. And that is no exaggeration. We paid 50 for a double room, the "double room" was so small only a small double bed could fit in. A small double concrete slab. The floor was comfier. There was an ancient tv that struggled to display the only... More

Well done welovegreece65 for managing 1 night. We stayed for one hour before escaping😐 Disgusting, filthy, unkempt. When handing back the key I requested a refund and was refused. I suggested I would make a negative tripadviser review and was told I definitely wouldn't be reimbursed if I did that❕ I was given an email address which I wrote to... More

Before we arrived we were a little suspicious that we were staying in a £20 a night hotel, however from the outside it all looked ok. We were on a sleezy mid week night out and didn't really expect much. Upon arrival after the check in time our room was not ready, we went for a drink and came back... More

After booking a room in advance at the Brittania we drove up on the forecourt to find a rather dark empty reception. A note on the door informed us that the hotel was closed for refurbishment. We rang the bell which was answered by a lady telling us sorry we are closed ! we informed her we had booked and... More

How nice to be able to give a good report of a hotel visit. Our three day stay was very enjoyable and ticked all the boxes! In particular our suite – provided at Double Room rate represented excellent value for money. The hotel is scrupulously clean; and kept so by all of the attentive staff. The well balanced menus were... More

reception area lovely but some of the bedrooms are well past there best. Our room hit you with the bright green curtains, not at all relaxing! The bathroom was pretty bad with a badly cracked hand basis around the plug hole. Germs probably love it!!! Breakfast was a different matter, lovely and as much as you wanted. Waiter was attentive...
