We stayed here in a group for the murder mystery weekend, which considering none of us had ever done one was a bit a leap of faith. We laughed constantly and the whole thing was run superbly, both by the cast, and the hotel. Considering we were mystery weekend virgins we never felt out of place and our ridiculous questioning... We recently celebrated our Golden Wedding anniversary at this wonderful hotel. This is the home that Edward V11 had built for Lily Langtry. We were treated like royalty, too, as the staff were amazing. So thoughtful and kind. I had booked flowers in our room to please my wife on our arrival but they added complimentary champagne and chocolates, too.... More

We spent two night's here and felt the whole place was wonderful. The building is obviously very old but that adds to the charm of the whole place. We stayed in the main house which is partly a museum but our room was modern, clean and quite light. The staff were very friendly, efficient and polite. We had afternoon tea... More

Stayed here for three nights in the Kings Suite after upgrading from the Disralie Suite, having initially been told it was unavailable when booking for my husbands birthday in October. On reflection wish we had not, the room was extremely dated and tired with old plastic flowers, lace decorated tissue box, stained carpets, very dusty, dirty windows and out of date... More

We stayed in the Goodwood suite for one night for our anniversary, we booked a gold celebration package. On arrival the reception staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, they walked us to our room located in the lodge, on the way he (can't remember his name) was telling us about both buildings when they were built and who lived there... This is a long overdue review from two seperate stays earlier in the year. We booked one night with Secret Escapes and were upgraded to the Kings Room - we were delighted, the whole hotel is steeped in history - but what made it for us were the staff, a helpful, polite cosmipolitan mix who go out of their way... This is a great hotel. Fabulous service and rooms. I would encourage people to read reviews to enable them to make the best decision for coming here, and you will come. 1. Choose a special suite, make it special. 2. Eat in the restaurant at least one night. 3. Embrace the ambiance. 4. Having read reviews. Never ever go to... More

We stayed at Langtry Manor for one night. We were allocated a room in the annex and although we would have preffered the main building our room was very clean and more than adequate. We were also advised that there was a wedding reception to be held in the annex and that we may experience some noise, we were pleased... More

We spent a night at the Langtrys manor following our God daughters wedding . The reception and evening were held there . The food was delicious and attractively presented . The evening buffet equally good . Our room was lovely , clean and well appointed . Maybe a little too warm ! But what makes the langtrys manor THE place... More
