We stayed at the Langtry Manor Hotel, Bournemouth. The King's room, was a great experience, (not to be missed). The food was excellent, especially the Edwardian banquet. The staff were helpful and friendly. We would definitely highly recommend it !! Thank you.

Having given up on the nearby Miramar Hotel with its nursing home ambience and the bossy dining room manageress, the Christchurch Hotel & Spa unable to cope when busy, this place is a real find. Why Oh why have I left it so late to stay here? A Bournemouth hotel like they used to be before the Travelodge concept, those... More

A great welcome awaits you in this hotel, the staff here are all welcoming and friendly and effortlessly engage in polite conversation and want to ensure that your stay is to your satisfaction and ours certainly was! They were very proactive and freely offered information. The rooms have names as well as numbers; we were in the Oscar Wilde room... More

We stayed here for one night, very nice hotel, very well appointed with a luxury feel, our room was a little small, but nicely done with quality fixtures/fittings, staff were very pleasant and helpful, only ate breakfast there, but it was very nice.

It is very hard to find a balance between maintaining history in a valuable building and meeting the requirement of demanding guests. Lantry Manor has met that perfectly. This was the love nest of King Edward VII that he gave to his lover Lily Lantry. Some how they have been able to keep the charm of the place intact, we... More

My boyfriend and I visited Langtry Manor Hotel for Afternoon Tea whilst staying with some friends in Boscombe. Having seen recommendations for their gluten free afternoon tea we thought we'd try it. Staff were very attentive without being overly so. The Afternoon Tea was Delicious. Scones were delightfully warm, a lovely selection of sandwiches and cakes - they'd really taken... More

Booked four poster spa bath room for 2 nights few months ago. Was really looking forward to it as my husband and i were celebrating our wedding anniversary! When we arrived to check in we were informed that the spa bath in the room we had booked was broken but we were able to stay in another room for the... More

We have stayed here twice this year. Staying in the main house is great but the rooms offered in the lodge over the road are still good. The staff are keen to please and almost appear anxious about getting things right. Some are still gaining confidence in their use of English but patience pays. The breakfasts are good with a... More

Had a one night stay for our Wedding Anniversary last week. The room was lovely with a red rose and chocolates waiting for us on the bed. Immaculately clean everywhere. Dinner was excellent. The Langtry tiger prawns were delicious, and my husbands asparagus was wonderful too. We both had sea bass for mains and couldn't fault it. The beautiful meringue... More

There's something very special about the Langtry Manor, it's hard to know where to start. Our second visit, this time we stayed in the Lilly Langtry room. You can't help but step back in time in this hotel, with the luxury on a par if not better than any of the hotels in Bournemouth. Full of history and character, excellent... More
