...it was the hotel that made me decide I would NEVER AGAIN stay in a cheap & cheerful hostel. Had a dreadful weekend here in 2000, absolutely awful place. We were glad to get away, and have since enjoyed all sorts of treats at proper hotels. Stay away!!

It started off badly when the desk clerk shouted from his back room that he wouldn't be long. Staring around the lobby at the pile of bed mattesses didn't help. Room was OK but no towel rail in bathroom as it had broken off and despite informing the desk nothing was done about it. Food was adaquate. A disco held... More

just returned from palm court .room was not posh but very bright and airy..loved the conservatory and large dining room. didnt have to wait long for breakfast ..fast efficient service :0) will be using this hotel again
