This place is 2 star...... I think 1 of those might be for the sea views! The staff I spoke to were helpful, I got locked out of my room and the night man let me in without any moans. The single bed was a bit hard and the pillows were hard and lumpy but it was all clean enough.... More

Unfriendly and unhelpful. We complained several times throughout the night due to noisy guests, or tried to I should say as there was never anyone on the reception ! Cleanliness rating low due to personal hairs found on the bathroom units! The ground floor window had no lock so felt unsafe leaving our valuables in the room. Draft through door.... More

This is something out of Fawlty towers. Arrived at this hotel after booking a week previous. On arrival the room was trashed, covers over the floor and beds stood in an upright position. The night Porter checked the only other room available which was in exactly the same state. The porter then put us in an occupied room and told... More

The Bourne Hall Hotel is definately not a luxury hotel, however we did know this on booking. The rooms were a bit old and dated, however were clean. There were scratches on the wall of our room that looked like someone had tried to claw their way out overnight, not sure where those came from! There were also several rather... More

Room was comfortable, amenities were good and staff were very helpful with any queries I had. The hotel is situated in easy walking distance for the seafront and the town. Within a few minutes walk is a small convenience store should you need anything. Would defiantly stay again if in the area.`

3 of us stayed her, a twin and a single, the night before running the Bournemouth Marathon, at beginning of October. Have been in unsatisfactory correspondence since then, hence delay in review. Hoped to allow the management the opportunity to sort the matter out. All we wanted was a good nights sleep, before running 26.2 miles, the following morning. We... More

This is a small family run hotel. While it could do with redecorating (which the owners are gradually doing) it is perfectly adequate for a stay with plenty of storage in the room. A very friendly bar and a very substantial well cooked breakfast. I would have liked to have seen more information about what is available at the hotel... More

Stayed here for two nights whilst on a hens weekend. It's not 5 star (obviously) but was warm, clean and friendly with a very central location. Breakfast was more than adequate (actually phened over the hash browns). Great value and would recommend as a budget hotel.

We stayed here on the Friday night of the Bournemouth Air Festival in room 113, which is on the front. We were concerned that traffic noise might disturb us, or that the club opposite might be noisy but we weren't disturbed at all. The room is by the lift and the stairs and although we weren't disturbed by other guests... More

We have stayed here before ,the location is ideal for the beach and town center.Parking can be a squeez . The rooms all need updating .Front rooms can be noisy as on a main road and lots of Stag and hens passing till late . Breakfast is good but needs better quality sausages and hotter potatoes. Not bad for the... More
