4 night family break, room was clean, the hotel is very grand, the gym is good, but the pool is cold and has limited hours for children. Also there is an extra charge for use of the pool, and for the car park which they don't mention when booking. Food was good, the service was fine, but in a 4... More

Myself and my family booked the airshow lunch on Saturday 31st, we had a great day! The setting was just right, and the food was great (especially the steaks) . We really enjoyed the live music they put on, and would def return again. I'm not sure why every one rights bad comments as I've always enjoyed my stays at... More

The Royal Bath is vast in every respect. It was Bournemouths first hotel and commands a first class position close to the beach and cliffs. It has a fading grandeur but is undergoing refurbishment and does maintain it's Oscar Wilde charm. The problem I had was that I was on Government rates and so did not have ideal rooms. The... More

We booked a room at The Royal Bath hotel with hotels.com. We received confirmation by email. After a long trip to Bournemouth, we arrived at the hotel, only to be told, there was no parking due to lack of space ( we'd booked here because it stated there was parking) . After we'd been directed to public car parks and... More

This hotel was booked at the last minute for the airshow weekend as every where seemed to be full. The location was excellent and the price was good. However upon getting the booking email it stated that some rooms have no windows or a skylight window. When we arrived it felt like the staff couldn't be bothered. Directing us to... More

A once Grand Hotel in a prime location that delivers a truly terrible customer experience. The marketing is totally misleading. From the time we arrived the room we booked (sea view with balcony) was not available as it is a first come first serve basis even though we had been told when we reconfirmed twice on the phone we would... Avoid - We booked 2 days in this hotel due to it being central to Bournemouth town centre, and had to check out after 1 day, because the hotel was so bad. The booking for standard double, and ended up in Room 121, which was a box room in the dungeon basement of the hotel, and beside noisy road, it... More

I booked a room with a sea view during the annual Air Show. Great views of the air show and the evening show including the fireworks display all from the comfort of your own balcony. Room and bed very clean. Had lunch in hotel and this was simple but good. Hotel has old style charm and nice gardens. Good central... More

We would just like to put a much different perspective on the much appreciated Air Festival day we had there this sat it was well laid out on the lawn a really good mix of people and whilst you have to go to the back fence and the veranda area to get the best views it is still an amazing... More
