What a classy place! We arranged to meet friends for dinner - the food we had was absolutely exquisite. Lovely service from the waitresses. Obviously very well managed. David and Gill from New Zealand

We decided to go to Bournemouth for our two years anniversary. It is a cute little hotel the decor is nice, the bed is comfortable and located 5 minutes from the sea. We booked the dinner package the food in the restaurant was nice even though a tad too salty and the potatoes I had with the sole were not... More

Second try and I can't help feeling the 'green' is more for advertising than the guests; Sink water not hot enough for a wet shave, poor bathroom lighting and no storage in bedroom save small wardrobe, no shelves/draws. We could hear the guy above snoring, and the woman next door on the phone, so not very quiet. We couldn't get... More

Thank you for the feedback and for returning a second time to the Green House. Your comments regarding our "green" ethos being more for advertising than for our guests baffles me especially when this comment follows a number of Eco initiatives we have put in place to reduce packaging including our freshly baked biscuits every day which are not packaged... Because it is so darned hot!!! I could not sleep last night because on what was a warm spring day the radiators were chucking out enough heat to grow a small pineapple. Don't get me wrong it is a superb hotel but they are not getting a five out of five because of this one reason. It kind of blows... More

Thank you for your review of the Green House. I am sorry to hear that you did not sleep well with us. We are experiencing some unexpected high temperatures in Bournemouth at the moment which is fantastic but it means we have a mix of guests who are hot and some who are cold. We have chosen to leave the... More

This is the third time we have stayed in this hotel and we cannot fault it. It is calm, clean and staff are always incredibly polite and helpful. We stayed in one of the smaller doubles and whilst we missed the roll top bath that you have in some of the larger rooms, this was ideal for a one night... More

We had a lovely room up in the eaves with a free standing cast iron bath in it. Very comfortable and clean. Only downside is the coffee/ tea machine which makes terrible luke warm drinks. Don't miss eating in the restaurant, the quality of the food was excellent. Altogether a really nice hotel.

As a green hotel, this is a very well designed hotel and the rooms comfy and stylish. A warm welcome greeted us and special attention given to showing us all the facilities. Quiet and relaxed, despite a wedding taking place, this is a lovely place to stay. Breakfast can be a little slow and chaotic but apart from that, this... More

Can't fault this hotel the staff, rooms and food are amazing. Regularly go to the hotel for business but this was the first time I had eaten in the resturant on an evening and the food was fantastic. Lovely for business or a romantic get away. Walking distance into town and the beech. Can't wait to go back.

I had my second stay at The Greenhouse in October and liked it just as much as the first time. The hotel is in a very pretty and quiet location one street back from the beach with very green and leafy grounds. The check in staff were very pleasant and helpful and showed me up to my room. The rooms... More

We wanted a relaxing weekend near the sea and this boutique hotel in a quite street near the centre of busy Bournemouth more than met our expectations. Not too big and not too small. Very comfortable beds and luxury ensuite bathrooms. Helpful and friendly staff. We'd definitely stay again.
