catering for all shades of gay men, HH provided every comfort. Reasonably priced and very friendly. Special events and karaoke are regularly available, and it's not far from Boscombe beach. The staff make this a home from home.

Introducing a very informal and small CABARET EVENING with ' THE NAKED SINGER' ROBERT - is a new way forward for Hamilton Hall and this first evening was such fun, and where even I murdered a couple of songs - that this is going to become a regular evening here - maybe monthly - so keep an eye on our... I arrived at Hamilton Hall exhausted and in need of recharging both my body and soul. My first impression was how relaxed the hotel/home appeared; there seemed to be a peaceful aura emanating from every corner. The rooms are of a very good standard for the price charged and the food was exceptional and delivered in abundance. I found the... More

Hamilton Hall starred in the TV programme 3 IN A BED ( first series ) and it showed how we offer a safe and secure venue for men in a world that offers abuse and homophobia - even now - and how support and friendship is so important in this corporate run world of anonymous hotels with anonymous staff and... Hamilton Hall is a gem of a guesthouse! I've stayed at Hamilton Hall 4 times over the last 10 years - and each time I've had a great time there. The place is well decorated (many exotic statues and paintings/wall hangings adorn the communal rooms, as well as the bedrooms) and it all feels very welcoming. The host, John Bellamy... More

It costs a great deal of time and money keeping Hamilton Hall redecorated, new beds and bedding, updating and renewing on a constant basis in order to keep the venue as you would hope to find it. In the spring a fortune is spent on the garden and many of these hidden costs go unnoticed - or unappreciated - until... More

Once again a fun and fascinating visit to the unique Hamilton Hall. Good company, good food, good conversation. HH has been a home away from home for me for a dozen or so years and hopefully for a dozen more.

Another lovely review, thank you - It touches me dearly to know that what we offer here at Hamilton Hall is appreciated and enjoyed. Since the TV programme ' 3 IN A BED' was shown again recently - we received hundreds of e mails of congratulations and appreciation of our NOT FOR PROFIT aspect and especially because we offer FREE... This place is a national treasure. Bring an open mind, a sense of fun, some broadminded notions and you will have a ball. You will need to keep up with the conversations around the communal dining room as they might range from politics, show business, conspiracy theories, holidays in Hawaii, public personalities or any other subject. The views will be... More

HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OUR READERS AND GUESTS I am always aware that some of those who attend our Special Events might get the wrong idea and not come with the right intentions, and it does happen occasionally. The web site makes it very clear but some people only read what they want. This weekend everything went really well and... More

Really enjoyed my stay at Hamilton Hall. You should visit the hotel website before arrival to really understand the ethos of the establishment. Very friendly, felt very much at home. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. Great value for money with a dizzying array of breakfast cereals, juices etc, teas all available and accessible at any... More

Another wonderful visit to HH with the irrepressible John hosting in his own inimitable way, this time enhanced by his charming new assistant, Shaun. As always, only one TV and communal eating enhanced the family atmosphere and the conversation was as outrageous, challenging and far reaching as always. I know HH isn't everyone's cup of tea and it is unlike... More

It just goes to show that if you want bland elevator music and blah blah blah boring conversation that teaches you nothing and leads absolutely no nowhere then you have thousands of hotels to choose from and who will delight in a very dull way. If however you want your gray cells challenged and expanded - as we ALL need... More

Hamilton Hall is rather like home from home but just a little bit different ... it has to be experienced to enjoy it. It has a unique friendly atmosphere which is perhaps enhanced by the fact that there are no televisions in the bedrooms, meaning that social interaction with humanity has to take place in it's lounges, dining area and... It has been a delightful summer season, very busy and a joy to meet so many wonderful and entertaining people and share so much laughter and be a part of their holiday week (ends.) I spent 3 nights at H.H. last week and was delighted by the relaxed and comfortable environment. I had a very nice room and the communal areas of lounge, separate TV room, breakfast room and garden were all really comfortable and nicely furnished with a touch of the exotic This made it feel that bit special. It was excellent value.
