We have just returned from our two night stay with Anthony & Pauline. We enjoyed a warm welcome even though we were two hours early and a welcome pot of tea after a long journey, after which we caught the local bus into Torquay. The purpose of our stay was for our cruise reunion with three other couples. The bedroom... More

When we arrived we were met by Anthony who helped us with our luggage, showed us to our room and gave us to time to freshen up and then welcomed us in the lovely lounge with a much appreciated pot of tea and biscuits. We then met Pauline who made us feel as welcome as Anthony had. We chatted for... More

I recently stayed here in early June with my Sister. We had a very warm welcome from Pauline and Tony. Pauline even upgraded us to a twin room at no extra cost. Every where was spotlessly clean and very well kept. Rooms were spacious. Breakfast was amazing. Freshly cooked, good quality with plenty of choice. Bedrooms were well equipped with... More

I recently stayed at Court Prior with my sister when visiting our Nan in hospital in the area. The hosts both took time to talk with us and having realised the circumstances of our stay, were extremely accommodating and helpful. They offered to extend our check-out time, made thoughtful suggestions about local attractions we may enjoy if we had time... More

Although still a work in progress this B&B is just a little special. Anthony and Pauline took over less than a year ago and already they have established themselves as excellent hosts. The rooms are very tastefully and professionally finished, the breakfasts are a wonderful start to the day, and the hosts make you feel so welcome. Will definitely stay... More

My daughter and I stayed two nights at Court Prior just before Easter. The owners made us feel very welcome and the room and en-suite bathroom were warm ,spacious and very well appointed. The house is within easy walking distance of Torquay centre though there are some hills! We had a delicious breakfast each morning to set us up for... More

We cannot recommend this Hotel enough. Our return to Court Prior for a relaxing break over Easter was marvellous. Bedrooms have recently been refurbished and the bathrooms modernised and enlarged, giving a real ‘deluxe’ feel. The owners clearly have an eye for detail and have masterminded a real transformation, whilst still maintaining a homely atmosphere. Nothing is too much trouble... More

We stayed with family over a week-end. The owners Pauline and Tony were perfect hosts, they made us feel really welcome. The rooms are being upgraded presently and judging by the rooms we saw the standards are top end with new beds and upgraded en-suites. The breakfasts are good with fruit juices and smoothes, lovely fruit salad and poached fruits... More
