My partner myself and son spent 10 nights at the glenwood. Tina and her family were very welcoming and the room was spotlessly clean and spacious. Breakfast was always really nice and there was a great choice. They were very helpful in recommending place's to go to. And thanks to them we got to see the red arrows at dawlish.... More

My wife and I arrived at the Glenwood for a three day break. We were given a very warm welcome. Our room was spacious, clean and airy. The Guest House is situated in a nice part of Torquay, about ten minutes from the seafront and similar from the town. Breakfast was very nice and we stayed for dinner on one... More

This was my second stay of a fortnight's duration at The Glenwood and I had absolutely no hesitation in returning. On arrival I was pleasantly surprised to find I had been given a complimentary upgrade to an even larger double room than the one booked which afforded fantastic views across town. Having travelled the UK extensively, I can safely say... More

The en-suite double room was very clean & comfortable , the full English breakfasts were excellent and if you like... More

This is the second time I have stayed here now and thought I should leave a review. This is a nice little B&B that offers a warm welcome & friendly service. Its an ideal base for a trip the the English Riviera, Its about a 10-15 minute walk down hill to the Town centre & seafront. The Rooms are pretty... More

Very welcoming, clean and comfortable. Plenty of choice at breakfast and an optional evening meal available. The full english breakfast was wonderful and freshly cooked. Bed was comfortable and the immediate area was quiet. Tina and Arthur know the area well and can recommend places worth visiting and suitable for all tastes. Will return.

We had a 6 night break in Torquay & opted for a guest house. We wanted was a comfortable guest house meeting the following criteria - Clean, Comfortable, Fairly Quiet, Good Breakfasts plus must be fairly close to the railway station. We chose the Glenwood because most of the reviews indicated our criteria would be met. We opted for the... More

Having recentlly returned from our third visit we found that Tina had maintained her high standards of food and accommodation. Always an excellent choice at breakfast and the three course evening meals are exceptional. The rooms have everything one could wish for and Tina and Arthur are very friendly and always make you feel welcome. Highly recommended - we'll be... More
