We stayed 7 nights B&B at the Abbeyfield Hotel and were delighted with everything about it. It is a good location, the hosts, Sandra & Jeff were most friendly & helpful and the breakfasts were superb, both in quantity & quality. The building is spotless throughout and the area is very peaceful, being in a cul de sac. There is... More

Hotel was well located, only 20 minute walk from Torquay front (£5 or £6 trip by taxi if weather poor) Room was compact, spotlessly clean, extremely well presented and lacked for nothing. Jeff & Sandra were perfect hosts, very friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfasts were excellent. Would definitely visit again, and would recommend to anyone.

On arrival of our 4 night break we had a friendly welcoming from Jeff. We were also given a map of the area which included places of interest to visit which was very useful. We even went to the theater which we have not done for years. The double room was spotless with a lovely en-suite bathroom. Breakfast was excellent... More

Jeff & Sandra made us very welcome on our arrival for our 3 night break. Gave us lots of info about Torquay and surrounding areas. Our ground floor room which we had was spotlessly clean and comfortable overlooking the garden. A very homely hotel beautifully furnished.A really lovely cooked breakfast which set us up for the day. We would highly... More

The four nights we stayed at the Abbeyfield was the best short break we have had for a long time. Jeff & Sandra gave a warm welcome and a review of the area, bus routs, and places to eat. The 32 bus stops 20 m from the hotel which will connect you with all the bus routs in the area.... More

Just had a three night stay at Abbeyfield. There's room for all guest vehicles to park outside. We have a small campervan which we left for the duration. Extremely clean and well decorated, comfortable room (3) with a small annex. We heard no noise and slept really well. Breakfast was all you could wish for. Jeff was on hand if... More

Myself, my wife and our daughter had a fantastic stay at the Abbeyfield Hotel, the room was clean and tidy with a nice ensuite shower room. The full english breakfast was very tasty and set us up well for a day out. Very good info provided by the owners about the local area and places to eat out. Sandra even... More

Stayed for 2 nights. The hotel was spotlessly clean. The host was very helpful, suggesting possible places to visit and giving information about the area. Breakfast was very good - mix of fresh fruit, cereals, yogurt and full English. Breakfast takes place between 8.30am and 9.00am but you can take your time once it's been ordered.

Stayed for 10 nights in July. Lovely hotel in a quiet location. Had room 1 which is on ground floor near the entrance - nice spacious room & no problems with noise even though near the front door. Breakfast starts between 8:30 and 9:00 but you can take as long as you need. Plenty of choice - caters for vegetarians... More
