Second time my wife and I stayed at the Mariers Guest House. The hotel is good value for money, our room was very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was also very good. The owners made us and other guests very welcome. We will be staying again on our next visit to Torquay.

Got a last minute room when the fancy took us. The room was comfortable, very clean, well equipped and quiet. The proprietor was cheerful and friendly without being intrusive. Breakfast was great and the over all price was reasonable and the location is convenient for the town or the coast. I wasn't a fan of the bed, which i found... More

We are so glad that we found The Mariners, we only stayed one night but we were made to feel very welcome. Roger is a natural host. The rooms are very clean and we had a larger double room and it was very comfortable. Breakfast was well cooked and presented. As I said we only stayed one night but would... More

we stayed here for 2 nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The guest house is clean tastefully decorated. Owners were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast has to be the best ever. Would highly recommend this guest house.

Myself and my partner stayed here for 4 nights and were blown away by the standard of the B&B. The whole place is decorated so tastefully and modern that it doesn't really feel like a B&B. Our room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable and the en suite was modern, very clean and bigger than I expected. I have... More

My sister and I stayed at the mariner guesthouse for two nights. When we arrived we were greeted in a very pleasant manner and were pleased to discover that our room was ready despite the fact we were two and a half hours early! We were shown straight to our room which we found to be extremely clean and very... More

This was our first visit to Torquay, we wanted to be centrally located the Mariners ticked all the boxes as it was located on Belgrave road, less than 10 minutes or as we were advised by Roger 6 minutes each way to everything. Roger (the owner) is a very nice chap who gave us a very helpful map as soon... More

It's a guest house not an hotel, so our room wasn't that big, but it was very comfortable, had a great shower and was exactly what we needed for a trip down in Devon and Cornwall. Everything you need is there, it's well located for trips to the town, all amenities are in the accommodation. The best thing is the... More
