After reading the good reviews we decided to book two nights to take in the local area before moving on to Cornwall. My initial thoughts were good, the hotel looked clean on the outside and there was plenty of room to park. Access was through a side door, as I entered there was a somewhat musty smell to the reception... More

Only stayed the one night on this occasion as the wife and I move our son into the area. Very pleasant stay with extremely helpful host, the room was immaculately clean and well furnished. With the sea front just a 10 min walk away and a further 5 to the town centre my wife and i found it to be... More

Stayed here for 2 nights, Only booked a single but got upgraded free to a family room, Nice surprise. Room very large with a single and double bed and very quiet. Not being fussy I only used the single bed as it was only somewhere to sleep whilst visiting family nearby. Only slight downside was the décor although dated with... More

My partner and I decided that we needed a weekend away and chose Torquay. Found this hotel and was very happy about the price (only £160 for 3 nights!) The owners were brilliant and on New Years Day we found that we were slightly poorly (unsurprisingly alcohol related) and no where was open to get some food. After going to... More

My sister and I stayed here for a one night stay last week. Our room was comfortable. Breakfast was good and the owners seemed nice and friendly. The town and sea front are a short walk away. If looking for a good value place to stay in Torquay I would recommend here.

Arrived on Thursday for a 3 night stay. Room was large and clean with a double and single bed. En suite was lovely, new and clean. The breakfast was very nice and enough to eat. Location wise this hotel was perfect for us, a pleasant ten minute walk from the sea front. The owners were lovely, friendly but not in... More

A quaint old fashioned guesthouse. The room we were given had a double bed and a single. It was spotlessly clean with an up to date en-suite. Only complaint about the room was the lack of a full length mirror. The breakfast was plentiful and very good. Nothing being too much trouble, even though some of the guests were difficult... More
