we were not sure after booking, and reading the reviews, and that's what they are, we are all different, The bed was clean, as the room was, shower and bath clean. The food was ok, hubby asked for bread and butter with breakfast, I had bacon, egg and beans, ( two bacon on plate ), toast was put on table,... More

We had a lovely time at this hotel, its a little old fashioned and needs updating, but was very clean and the beds very comfortable ( contrary to what some other reviews said) The landlord was ve ry friendly and made us laugh a lot! The entertainment could have been better but all in all we had a nice time!

Just this evening returned from a short break booked with Travelstyle to the Norcliffe Hotel. Whilst not expecting a luxury hotel for the price, it is reasonable to expect better than what we got! In brief: Manager who drove you insane with his constant, self opinionated ramblings avend offensive comments. Having to make a decision on what you wanted for... More

Where to start? Cleanliness - The rooms were moderately clean. Curtains were filthy and clearly hadn't been washed in a while. Bedding was clean. Bathroom cleaned daily. Could do with redecorating (the hosts can afford holidays to Egypt and other worldly places but cant afford to make their hotel look nice and feel comfortable for guests) Hosts - Friendly people.... No hot water before 7 am or after 9 pm. Made to feel like Oliver in the dining room, WHAT, YOU WANT MORE? Ovrtbearing host who obviously thinks he's... More

Having just arrived back from this "hotel" I find there is definitely NO place like home....! What is it with Travelstyle and their hotels? Do they send people out to try these hotels out before they take bookings? If so, the rep for this one must have been paid 'back-handers' to place them on their list. From the moment we... More
