When I arrived I was made very welcome ,the room was clean ,tidy and warm comfortable bed with a little fridge to keep the fresh milk in. Had a lovely 4 night stay at the Ashfield at the end of October. Ann and Chris couldn't be more accommodating and we looked forward every morning to our breakfast chats! 4 nights with Chris & Anne a great couple. Room cosy, and clean. Breakfast choice Fantastic. Ann booked theatre tickets for a local show which included transport for me. A great nights entertainment especially if you are on your own. Location central to shops, sea, walks, bus. The Bygone museum is a must. Thanks for a most enjoyable and relaxing... More

Recently stayed at the Ashfield whilst working in Torquay over the past 4 weeks, the owners are very friendly and welcoming, which made my stay very pleasent. The guest house is spotless, rooms very comfortable, all with showers and toilets, Tv, tea and coffee. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice. Town centre and seafront less than ten mins... We stayed at the Ashfield Guest House for 7 nights. Ann and Chris were lovely hosts and the stay was just perfect, walking distance from the centre of Torquay. Great breakfast and the place is just spotless. Thanks again Ann and Chris

We stayed in the Ashfield for 6 nights, the location is brilliant near the beach, bus stops and a short walk into town. Chris and Ann are lovely hosts who go the extra mile, very friendly and accommodating like you are one of the family. We stayed for three nights with our young grand daughter and had a lovely break. Ann and Chris provide a relaxed and comfortable experience. My husband and I decided to come here last minute for Easter. Am I glad we did. Once again we are already booked again for August Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are clean and very adequate for your stay. Ann does a lovely breakfast not forgetting Chris the toast master we will be back

I found Ashfield guest house by accident one year and now I stay there every year and get treated as one of the family. Ann & Chris are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Lovely people and a lovely place. And the best breakfast you could wish for !!!
