The Glenross is an exceptional small B&B that is happy with itself and offers the perfect place to stay for that weekend away or a more lengthy place to use as a base for touring the whole of Torbay. It's easy to find and is well placed away from the crowds but a manageable walk to the sea front. Car... More

This was our second week long stay with Mike and Aggi and we were not disappointed, our room was spotless and very, very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful - an array of fruit, cereals, cooked options, home made yoghurt etc, in fact, pretty much anything you wanted! We always felt very welcome and no request was too much trouble.... More

We stayed here in 2006 and 8 years later I've got around to leaving a review! Reading the more recent reviews its still as perfect as it was when we stayed! As soon as we walked through the door we were greeted with a friendly welcome! Our room had everything we would need and was spotlessly clean! Michael went above... More

Had a lovely 3 nights here with excellent food and accommodation. Cannot fault it except for sound of thunder, and seagulls, at night! Was during the heat wave so had to have the window open but didn't hear much traffic in room 20. Would recommend it to friends and family.

Lovely friendly welcome, got our room upgraded. Ensuite bathroom was huge, and had every extra you needed! Comfy bed and pillows. Best scones ever on arrival! Very well run by a lovely couple, lovely breakfast, homemade yogurt was delicious. 20 min walk into town, plenty of advice and leaflets where to visit. Very homely and very relaxing.

on rival the greeting is warm and friendly and the tea and scones were a fabulous welcome. The room was spotless and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and locally sourced. The walk to the seafront was lovely if you enjoy a nice stroll. If you don't like walking I would suggest somewhere a bit nearer... What a lovely little B and B. The owners have made it brilliant. The attention to detail including the in room fridge and iPod docking station with the bathroom amenities all make this extra special. The breakfast choice was brilliant all hand made and organic. Very disappointed to leave. But hey, got to eat my Easter egg that was awaiting... More

Room was spotlessly clean, with everything you could want, including a fridge. Breakfast was superb, we had lovely fresh fruit, followed by a very good quality, freshly cooked breakfast. Warm croissants and home made yogurt were also offered, which we were too full up to have. Maybe next time. Michael and Agata were friendly and welcoming hosts and we would... More

Stayed from 9-11/4/14- the wife has mobility problems and the entrance was manageable with the handrail, on arriving at reception both michael and agata met us and after the formalities we were offered a refreshing drink--we opted for a nice pot of tea which appeared to be the jackpot as it came with lovely homemade scones, clotted cream and strawberry jam--our...
