Location very good. Parking very good considering how close we were to the harbour and shops. There was plenty of secure extra parking all free. Dining room clean and bright, breakfast large selection of food and the full English well presented. Bedroom had everything in it anyone could want and very comfy. Well done Brian and thank you. We hope... More

We liked this hotel and the location is very good. Breakfast wasn't perfect but we ate it all! The room was fine and quite big and we had a good view. We only stayed for 3days but would certainly come back.

Just returned from our 4th visit to Hotel Hudson. The proprietor Brian was his usual welcoming self. The hotel has lovely rooms & is in a well appointed position, close to many restaurants and lovely beaches. Secure parking at no extra cost is provided a short walk from the hotel. We will be returning again in the summer.

This was about the 5th time we have stayed at the Hudson and another very enjoyable stay. We were made to feel at home, lovely room and a delicious breakfast. We would not stay anywhere else in Torquay.

I enjoyed my stay and this hotel, Brian was a lovely chap and very helpful. I can however see why people are making a few bad reviews, but 1 star is totally underselling this place in my opinion. I personally didn't see the water damage that people were talking about in reception. Perhaps its been fixed. Anyways the room was... More

An ideally located central Torquay hotel. We were given the garden room which offered a separate entrance and patio/garden. The room was huge and had two beds (one double/one single). The price was reasonable considering it included a hearty breakfast and parking. Having read the early reviews I cannot agree re noise from the road. Our room was on the... More

Not as advertised. Totally unsuitable for anyone with mobility difficulties or allergies to dogs. Didn't stay, went elsewhere, but still had to pay for first night. Person who greeted us didn't seem to know if he had rooms for us or not despite us having booked.
