2nd stay in this beautifully decorated and maintained B&B . Attention to detail separates this accommodation from your usual B&B. Breakfast offered plenty of choice for all tastes and the cookies, flapjacks or fruit very welcome for afternoon tea. If we had one critism it would be nice to have somewhere to sit outside when the sun is shining.

Many thanks for this very generous review we're delighted that you've come back to us and enjoyed another stay. In terms of outside space, we have seating in the front garden as well as tables and chairs in our beautfully secluded, tranquil back garden. Maybe our back garden is a secret space that's just a little too secret.... nevertheless it... More

Wonderful hosts and fab location. Garden suite was gorgeous. Standard room is small but beautifully furnished and immaculate. Breakfast was tasty and beautifully presented. I can't fault the place. The fresh milk and cookies always on offer was a lovely touch. Andy and Grant you are such lovely people. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant.

Working in the hotel industry and travelling all over the word in 5 star hotels I have become quite fussy. This gem of a B&B ticked every box!! I can honestly say the best B&B I have every stayed in. The attention to detail is what made is a very enjoyable stay even if it was for only one night!... More

Beautiful accommodation, elegant, quiet, sumptuous décor with every home comfort and more besides. The breakfasts were excellent - I have never tasted omelettes that were so delicious and I am missing the smoothie shots and yoghurt compotes now that we are back home. The place was spotless and Adam and Grant make you feel very welcome. Truly special and would... More

We stayed at the Somerville over half term break. Lovely decor, great location as it is only 10 minutes walk to the harbour and 5 minutes walk from the museum and restaurants. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was fantastic. One of the best guest houses we've ever stayed at.

We had an amazing weekend at this 5-star standard B&B, having stayed here last November in the 'off-season' we returned to challenge their team on a busy bank holiday weekend - we were not disappointed. The standards were once again outstanding. The rooms impeccably clean, the bed so comfortable - even with the lure of the exceptional breakfast awaiting for... More
