My wife and I stayed here fior 2 days at the end of November - although the hotel had few other residents, the service was excellent particularly at breakfast. I would recommend this hotel if we were a couple ..As thete are lots of stairs, up to rooms, down to breakfast hall etc it wasnt really suitable for our non walking 13 month old. it was nice enough although we had one of the old unfurnshed rooms so it was very dated and in need of modernisation. I will speak to our Recption Team as to why you were allocated a room at a higher point of the hotel, although I think it was that there was nothing available in a lower part of teh building. Having just returned from this hotel, I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The meals at the Inn@Grosvenor were fantastic and very good value for money.
