I recently had the misfortune of stating in this hotel in room 104 (you wouldn't know this because the key had no fob) The room is dirty the decor is vile the curtains and other table cloths / doilies????? I stay at the hotel quite often due to business, but I was very pleased to see the introduction of the 'Pub@The Grosvenor' This is a pub-restaurant which forms part of the hotel with a separate entrance. Food & service was excellent and very good value. more

The hotel is quite tired and in need of some tlc, however staff were super friendly & helpful, room was very spacious and clean - linen in particular was spotless. My husband and I booked through yell.com, and only paid £25 per person per night - a real bargain considering, for some unknow reason we got the honeymoon suite!! Lovely... more
