We have just returned from another first class stay at the Headland. Food is excellent with 6 courses each night. The whole hotel is in an amazing setting with superb views across Torbay, especially as the weather was on our side! The hotel is very friendly and staff excellent. A huge thank you to the hotel for also presenting me... More

Just returned from another week at the Headland Hotel. If you want a friendly hotel with glorious views and wonderful food this is the hotel for you. All the staff are very welcoming. I would especially like to thank Tamsin, Charles and Tomas for making our stay special. I would recommend this hotel very highly.

Last week my wife and I stayed at this lovely hotel for the second time. The furnishings, rooms and restaurant are first class with 6 course meals each night. The staff are welcoming friendly and very efficient The outside pool was heated and a joy to indulge in. We shall most certainly be returning in the near future and I... More

Stayed in this hotel for a week (room 134). WE really enjoyed our stay, the room was great with lovely views over the gardens and sea. Great staff and good food and very good entertainment in the evenings. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Booked this hotel whilst attending a wedding at another hotel nearby so it was a flying visit. We arrived a couple of hours before check-in and asked if there was any chance a room was ready so we could get ready for the wedding - or if not could we use their toilets and leave our luggage to check in... Dear Readers, We are very sorry to hear that these guests did not fully enjoy their one night’s stay with us. Although there should certainly not have been any issues with cleaning or maintenance we would have immediately looked into offering an alternative room in order for them to have been able to enjoy there night. We do have a... More

we went to this hotel with a coach company, for 8 days, on booking form we requested a sea view as it was a special week of our wedding anniversary, but wasnt essential, we were allocated a room far from a sea view or any view at all, as no more than a couple of feet away was a wall... More

Dear readers, The room that these guests occupied is on the ground floor. The hotel is five stories high on this side of the building as the hotel is built on a hill. The lift does have a ‘b’ which does stand for basement and we should have changed this when we upgraded the lift. However as it is an... More

We went down to this hotel on a friends recommendation as they had been going there for some years,we were told they were busy that weekend but didnt inform us that they had a wedding on. When we arrived there was nowhere to park and it seemed that there were no disabled bays. The wedding took over the car parking... More

Thank you for your review, it is good to hear that you very much enjoyed the meals, staff and entertainment as well as the complimentary taxi service.
