We stayed here for two nights and it was the worst hotel we have stayed in........... \the food at dinner was inedible just like "slop" but the breakfast was ok. The service was very rushed and the waiting staff were bringing your main course before you had finished your starters.............the food was luke warm and pre-prepared and the serving dishes... more

Our rooms 18 22 the beds were both very comfy and with clean pillows "yes we looked under the pillowcases" the sheets... real hospital corners and the duvets were fluffed... more

A brilliant 4 night stay! Room and hotel in general, were clean and nicely decorated. All the staff were an asset to the hotel. The food was excellent, with a different 3 course menu served every night, compliments to the chef and the waitresses. The indoor heated swimming pool was a welcomed bonus and there was great entertainment provided every... more

My elderly mother and I have just stayed at this hotel. I had read some of the reviews on here and didn't quite know what to expect. I have to say that we were very pleasantly surprised. Ok so the hotel is a little out of the centre of Torquay, but that means there is not too much noise to... more

NOT a Hotel for the disabled or elderly as there is no lift or stair lift and there are only 9 rooms on ground flooor. It means climbing a minimum of 16 stairs to reach floor one and of course even more for those rooms above. Also the dinning room is below the ground floor and necesitated negotiating a further... more

This hotel is in urgent need of updating. The side panel on the bath in our room was parting company with its moorings and the area under the wash basin was bare and untiled. Water from the hot tap was a mere trickle, and took ages to give any semblence of warmth. The room and bathroom doors both jammed. The... more
