Stayed here for New Year and on arrival we were greeted by Craig who was a delight, we had booked the premier suite and we were not disappointed, the room was a good size clean and comfortable with some beautiful furniture, we had a great nights sleep which is unusual for me as I don't sleep well in strange beds.the room... Had a brilliant time in Torbay last summer and The Marstan made it so much better! The front of house, Craig, was so lovely and friendly. He had a wealth of knowledge on the best restaurants and beaches etc. And was so hospitable. The service recieved was so professional yet warm and friendly. I have to say that the Full... More

Had a lovely brilliant few days staying at The Marston Hotel, arriving 30th Dec to 3rd Jan 2015. Staying in Room 6 - Four Poster Bed, lovely comfortable bed and spacious room and bathroom suite. Very clean and rooms cleaned every day. Quiet room overlooking the pool and hot tub. The breakfast food was excellent loved the mushroom omelette and... More

Me and my husband spent 2 nights at the Marstan between Christmas and New Years. It was a lovely B&B and I would like to come back again in the summer time. The service was good, room really large with a nice decor. The hotel was very clean and service was just right. The hotel is situated on a hill... More

Just come back from a three night stay at the Marstan for New Year. We were warmly welcomed by craig who offered us hot drinks and carried our luggage which I thought was really nice and welcoming. The building is lovely and very clean. The decor aims to provide a lavish feel to the place and the bar and dining... More

A lovely hotel, beautifully decorated and presented, with spotless, atttractive and comfortable rooms. Having arrived rather later than expected and after dark, we were warmly welcomed by Craig who ushered us into a stunning reception room, rustled up a pot of tea and chatted away about the locality and our trip. Later we took advantage of the cosy and comfortable... More

Had a lovely stay here for the weekend. Ian and Craig very good hosts and Craig was very welcoming when we arrived. Location good, 10 min walk into town (steep hill not good for high heels) :-) Unfortunately never got to use hot tub or piano but both looked lovely! Breakfast was superb. Best scrambled eggs I've had in a... More

We stayed here on a trip to Cornwall for a couple of night and had a most enjoyable stay. Craig made us very welcome with tea, maps and I formation on the local area. The hotel is an easy walk to the beach and the town but far enough away to be quiet. 100 percent recommended.

Friendly, easy-going owners, comfortable bedrooms, delicious breakfast, incredibly posh public areas, ample off-street parking.....the facilities could not be bettered. It is a fair wee walk from the centre though, which is ok at the start of the evening when you are heading downhill all the way, but coming back up the distance seems to double after a meal and a... I'll keep it short and sweet and state the facts. Stayed here for 3 nights over the weekend in the last remaining smallest room. This room was still brilliant and big enough for 2 of us. Brilliant location. Brilliant staff. Brilliant breakfast. Very very clean. Amazing price. Would 100% recommend it and would definitely go back to this hotel. Just... More
