The Palms is perfectly located not far from the marina, away from the noisy center and posh areas of Torquay, so it was comfortable for a young couple like ourselves. The room is clean, well decorated, with plenty of amenities including tea facilities , biscuits and even a plug in fridge, sadly no shower gel with the toiletries, but the... More

Stayed there for three nights checked out yesterday. At the time of booking a few weeks back they only had a twin room, at the back of the house which we accepted and it was fine. Nice and clean. Bathroom was spotless. The breakfast was good, cooked fresh to order. The only criticism I have us the difficulty getting the... More

Stayed for 3 nights for some R&R. Friendly welcome from the owner on arrival. Great location only 5 minute walk to the harbour . Great breakfast and lovely room. Ample parking at the rear. Well worth a visit. Definitely will return.

The Palms hotel is situated within 5 minutes walking distance from the town centre and shops, however, it is uphill with further steps up to the hotel from the road so you have to be fairly fit! Check in was fast and efficient with the hosts most welcoming and informative with any questions we asked regarding the local restaurants and... More

Thank you for your very kind review. Yes we do know that behind the hotel it is tight to park and that there are only two spaces there. However we do have a small car park which is 50 yards up the road and that is easy parking with plenty of room. Also it should be noted we do not... More

I'm just in the process of booking another stay next month (hopefully). A nice friendly and sort of homely hotel. I had a single room with a large double bed. It was very comfy. I stayed in one night reading and making use of the tea making facilities. It had a well appointed en-suite too. Other guests I met at... More
