We stayed at the hotel bank holiday weekend in the Beachcomber room. It was great with large ensuite, comfy bed and fab view over town and coast. Hotel is very clean and individual and Kevin and Julie are very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast choice is excellent. Overall a winner!

Returned to The Albaston for first break this year. Kevin and Julie have really worked hard transforming the place since here last. All the rooms have been transformed to a high standard. We stayed in the Observatory which gives a great view across town to the sea. Stuck our noses into The Beachcomber room which has also been upgraded. Can't... More

Fantastic place. Julie and Kevin could not do Enough for Us. We even stayed a extra night. Great value. Lovely rooms clean and to a high standard. Will defently stay there again. Breakfast was home made Jams and bread plus choIce of vegiterian or full English. You must try the sausages. Perfect

Having stayed at the Albaston several times when under previous ownership and wanting accomodation in Torquay overnight I went onto their website and was interested at the changes that had been made. I booked online at short notice and didn't really have particulary high expectations. Immediately we arrived we were greeted in a welcoming and friendly manner, including from the... More

Thank you to new owners Kevin and Julie for a wonderful couple of nights. Nothing was too much trouble and we were made very welcome. It was clean, well set out and decorated with lots of little extras making a pleasant stay. They're currently modernising and improving the place but this was unobtrusive and did not impact on our stay... More

Spent the weekend here, had to return to see what Kevin & Julie had done since the last time. More rooms have been upgraded and plans for the garden and dining room shortly to start, if as successful as the rest of the hotel will be exceptional. Usual warm greeting and fantastic breakfast just can't fault. Looking forward to visiting... More

Kevin, Julie & family are the nicest hosts you could wish for. You will never find a cleaner hotel. The bedroom was very classy & comfortable. The breakfasts are top notch both in terms of choice and quality.

Kevin & Julie are the best hosts I have ever come across, nothing was too much trouble. The accomadation was done to a very high spec and the cleanliness was excellent, the breakfast is amazing with home made marmalade and jams, they even bake their own bread which is to die for. This family run B&B is the best one... More
