Stayed at the Haytor hotel 19th-21st July. Room (3) was large and spotless looking out onto lovely gardens. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Free car parking and Wi-Fi. Good location-near to town but far enough away for peace and quiet. Great weekend ,would stay again .

Great hotel. Plenty of free parking, free (and reliable) Wifi Signal, and excellent breakfast. The room was spotless and very comfortable. Large flat screen TV, tea & coffee and mineral water, good quality toiletries in the bathroom. This will be my new spot to stay whenever I'm in Torquay on business.

We stayed in a small double for three nights and it was more than adequate for us both. Staff were really accommodating and helped us locate Tennis courts close by, their guidance on places to eat was also very helpful. Breakfast was also lovely and filling and you didn't have to wait long before it came out. Location was great... More

Les and I had a 3 night stay at The Haytor Hotel from Sunday 13th July. Welcome great, room great, hosts great, food great, area and even the weather great. The plan was to relax and recharge and that is exactly what we did, whole experience was fantastic.

My partner and I stayed at the Haytor hotel on the 22nd June 2014 for 4 nights and we were impressed in every way. The location of the hotel was just a 5 minute walk from all the attractions we needed and upon arrival we were greeted and given gudes to the best places to visit. The room was clean... More

The Haytor is well situated just a few minutes walk from the town centre, in an elevated position. Our room was clean and comfortable, the hosts and other staff being very helpful and welcoming. An ideal base for us over the weekend.

I have just returned from a weekend at The Haytor, I stayed in room 10 as did another reviewer. I had the room as a single occupancy which may have been slightly different. I loved the room and was totally relaxed. The shower just right, comfortable bed, good quality bed linen, spotlessly clean, plenty of tea and coffee in the... More
