The two of us (retirees) just returned from two-nights and three days in Torquay staying at the Robin Hill on a recommendation. Even so, I'd checked here on TA and was happy to see the reviews and have to say they more than easily lived up to all of the positive reviews. Andrew and Angela Mead can't do enough for... More

Just arrived home after spending 2 nights in Torquay. We had previously booked via telephone direct with Andrew (owner). We booked 2 rooms and I stayed in Room 6 which had everything we needed ..tea & coffee making facilities, iron, iPod docking station, toiletries, bottled still and Mineral water etc. The super King size bed is so comfortable but breakfast... Staying in Torquay? Look no further than the Robin Hill. Andrew and Angela are terrific people and go above and beyond to make your stay an absolute pleasure. Nothing is too much trouble. Accommodation, Breakfast and location are all first rate. This was our second stay and I'm sure there will be many more to come.

We had a wonderful stay at this friendly, family run hotel. Stayed in room 6, very comfortable bed and beautifully appointed en suite. Loved the original Victorian features within the hotel and the owners were very knowledgable and welcoming. Really enjoyed it

Just on our way home from a truly lovely stay in the Robin hill hotel, we were made very welcome this including our dog! We stayed in one of the hotels dog friendly rooms which was extremely clean and very comfortable. The couple who run this hotel really are lovely people, and if back in Devon we would defiantly stay... More

This is an absolutely lovely guest house to stay in. Andrew welcomed us and our dog when we arrived, quickly booking us in and showing us directly to our room. A dog bed and bowl were provided for our dog free of charge. Andrew was very attentive whenever he saw us around the facility, always checking in to make sure... More

Thank you for such a positive review. As our first guests this year we're very pleased that you like what we're doing to the place. We still have a lot to do and know it will take a little while to get all of the rooms to the same standard. The weather, of course, has not been kind for a... More

28/12/2013 We stayed for one night with our dog on the way back from Cornwall and it was very pleasant stay, the room was a bit basic being a dog friendly one but it was clean and comfortable. The host was lovely and couldn`t do enough for us. In the morning we came down to a fantastic breakfast selection, cereal... More

Many thanks for the positive review. As you have seen we're dog lovers ourselves and are pleased to welcome well behaved dogs to some of our Standard rooms. Although our Superior rooms are larger and better equipped we have taken a decision to keep them pet-free for the present. We are steadily upgrading all the rooms at the property and... More
