I had the pleasure of being back in Torquay and revisiting the Osborne. I stayed 2 nights and as usual the food and service was excellent. It is great to see so many of the staff still at the hotel. The weather was glorious and I enjoyed an afternoon sitting on the terrace overlooking the sea and the beach. I... More

Yes this is a stunning grade 2 listed hotel. A beautiful crescent with immaculate grounds boasting pool, tennis courts, putting green & stunning views across Meadfoot bay. We upgraded as soon as we got there & spoke to Jade at reception. She was a delightful girl & got us a junior suite with balcony for an extra £50 per night.... More

I wanted to love this hotel, but they let me down! the location is amazing. the staff were excellent & friendly. the room were decorated to a good standard. that's it for the GOOD! one of the main reasons for staying here was the fabulous 'heated' out door pool & it wasn't heated (broken)!! the indoor pool was dirty, smelly,... The first impression of this Hotel, was the incredible view and friendly greeting from the staff in reception. We had a double room overlooking the sea which was spacious with separate sofa and chairs. The room was clean,a little dated and the bed was not the most comfortable, but otherwise ideal. The terrace seating area was a real asset as it... More

Well we have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Osborne and reading some of the previous reviews I am wondering if we stayed at the same place ?? We had a four poster room with a sea view and it was clean spacious and serviced daily. There was no DVD player when we arrived so we mentioned... More

We went there lately for our anniversary. We stayed at Hasketh room, first floor suite with balcony and it was amazing, probably one of the best rooms. It was modern, very spacious and cosy. The bar terrace was great to enjoy a drink during the evening. There are two things that i cant give 5 stars. Its weird to not have... More

I stayed here with my cousin and his wife on our yearly holiday. This is a wonderful Victorian hotel with rooms that have been recently refurbished to a very good standard. The staff and service were excellent nothing was too much trouble. Excellent choice of breakfast and with both an indoor and outdoor pool plus a tennis court there was... More

Second leg of our holiday, What a perfect place to stay. The view from the room was lovely. and floor a little uneven, but hey its an old building. We used the indoor pool and the gym, found both to be well equipped, even if some of the equipment was a little old. Food was good, Staff were extremely helpful,... More

The Osborne is billed as one of Torquay's finest hotels, with a price tag to match, but if that's true then I am worried about the rest. The good points first of all: the location is fabulous, the staff are very good, and the food in the restaurant is excellent. Unfortunately, that's where it ends. If you are paying top... More
