We visit Torquay every February to stay @ the Osborne Club (timeshare) right next door to the Hotel, its been a few years since we ate there so we decided to give it a try. The menu is quite limited but sufficent I think to satisfy most tastes, we never bother with starter's so I wont pass a comment there,... More

My wife and I first stayed at the Osborne twenty years ago for a wedding anniversary and enjoyed it so much we rebooked for another significant anniversary last week. Greatly relieved to find it still has the same first-rate service, food and facilities: if anything, even better. We were upgraded to the Meadfoot room with a superb view over the... More

Rather a difficult hotel review due to its contrasts - amazing from the outside - Stunning Regency building but the inside is stuck in the 70's, but excellent cuisine. The tiny reception desk is stuck in the corner of a lounge, but the door behind the desk leads in to a nightmarish 'office' like some kind of run down mini... More

My partner and I have just returned from a two night stay. Its a beautiful crescent hotel over looking over the sea. We have a lovely big room, with a good size en-suite.Sitting each morning having breakfast with such gorgeous views, and fab food. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Couldn't as for more! Would love to go again in... More

We stayed here on a Wowcher voucher end of Jan and had a fab time. We stayed in the sea view room "Lawrence" and were very pleased with the overall presentation of the room. The view was superb and we were lucky enough to wake up to sunshine glistening on the waves every morning. Breakfast was fantastic both mornings with... More

This is the second time we have stayed at this place, really impressive frontage, surroundings and decor, this time we were put in an inland facing room called Warberry, there is a trade off compared to the sea facing rooms, you get some serious square footage to go with your awful view! If I wanted to look at a wall... More

Hello Thank you for your review of your recent stay. Please accept my apologies for the chef smoking outside your window. Our smoking area is actually well away from the guest bedrooms, so I can only apologize again for the disturbance and assure you that I have taken the matter up with the kitchen staff. On a positive note, I... More

When we drove up to the hotel, the Neo-Georgian exterior and views of the bay from the extensive gardens took our breath away. We were warmly welcomed by the receptionist. We were really looking forward to seeing our room and it's name, Lincombe, on the third floor with a sea view sounded amazing. However, it was immediately apparent that the... More

We booked the dinner, bed and breakfast deal from the hotels website for January 2015. £159 per couple. The hotel is easy to find, with good parking and free WiFi. We had a sea view room with fabulous views and plenty of space, my only comment is the room was extremely warm and we needed to sleep with the window... More

I haven't stayed at this hotel but I am a member of the health club and visit regularly. The health club is fully equipped but it is DIRTY. The members changing rooms are an abomination! The two showers in the female area are slimy and covered in mould and the curtains are disgusting. The toilet is grubby and often without... More

My wife and i stayed here during the October half term. First impression of this hotel is a huge white crescent building in beautiful surroundings. The hotel overlooks the sea with views across to Brixham. The room we had was very nice. The bed was Queen size and extremely comfortable and the bathroom was large with bath and shower. The...
