We have just returned from a four day Christmas break at The Hotel Gleneagles. From start to finish, the experience was awesome. The food was superb ( my bathroom scales are telling me that I ate too much of it! ). The entertainment was very good, but the thing which made our stay special was the service. All of the... More

Myself and 5 friends booked a Christmas meal at Gleneagles and chose the £31 ,gold menu. We found the meal to be very mediocre and worth nowhere near that .. It was a very basic 3 course meal (no coffees included ) which would of cost no more than £20 - £25 at any other hotel. The service wasn't much... More

The hotel's interior downstairs is stunning, the bar and restaurant both very welcoming. The food was lovely both at dinner and breakfast. The staff were friendly and attentive. The view from the room was stunning. The room was clean, spacious and had everything you need in it.

Booked a tinsel & turkey break at Gleneagles but as we were the only couple booked received a phone call a week prior to visit asking if we would like to cancel due to lack of bookings or just have bed, breakfast & evening meal at a reduced rate. We decided to go anyway and had a thoroughly enjoyable few... More

Thank you for your review. Sorry to hear that you didn't fully enjoy your stay. Apologies for the cobwebs, and the cabinet you mention is maintained by the lady whose bags are for sale and not the hotel. Trevor Cornish General Manager More

The room was disappointing, tired decor, shower was a trickle and hot water in short supply. The view was lovely but we had paid extra for that. The public areas of the hotel were nicely presented. Dinner on the first night was less than average but much better on the second night for the dinner show. Breakfast was consistently very... More

We went for a Sunday lunch at Gleneagles hotel, the original famous 'Faulty Towers' , because this Hotel will be closing for good and will cease to be any more. It will be knocked down and redeveloped into apartments. But it is quite the opposite to the Faulty Towers the staff are pleasant and helpful and there are beautiful views... More
