We stayed for a night in a suite over August bank holiday 2014 to celebrate my birthday. We had originally booked dinner in the cafe/bistro which is part of the hotel but were contacted a couple of weeks prior to our stay to say that the restaurant/cafe was no longer open in the evenings (due to a temporary problem with... Stayed in June in a suite which is just a larger room, receptionist didn't know the way to the room as she was new, didn't know where to leave your car & didn't seem to know much about anything. Room was OK but noisy. Breakfast was really poor, apparently there were staff problems, a refund for the breakfast was promised... More

We had an overall very good stay. The rooms & decor were excellent and really nicely done. The views from our room, the breakfast room & the lounge are amazing. The room had everything we needed. There is no parking, which is an inconvenience. You can park in a car park for £8 overnight or you may find street parking... More

Stayed at Babbacombe Bay Hotel for 5 nights early August. Absolutely stunning is the only way I can describe this hotel. The view from our room was amazing looking out over the bay to Portland Bill and beyond. The atmosphere was relaxed and chilled, the staff in the hotel and restaurant were attentive, polite, welcoming and went out of their... More

We booked into this delightful hotel in mid July just as the weather started to get hot. Wow what a place. We initially booked for 3 nights but decided to extend the stay by 2 days .We originally had one of the smaller rooms (by small I mean compared to the suites) ,which was spotless and with a lovely sea... Excellent location and very nice stylish interior. We stayed in cliff tops suite and thought price fair. Very clean and comfortable bed with nice bed linen. Good breakfast and the cafe area is done very well. Generally good quality throughout.

We stayed mid June, the weather was outstanding, which always helps. We had a suite with great views over the bay, great décor and furnishings, outstanding shower, you could get a family in there. No shortcuts in providing everything you require for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Breakfast was a hi-light, the 'full english' should be attempted on one day... More

We were lucky enough to pick the warmest weekend of the year to stay and also to have chosen the only suite with a balcony overlooking the downs and the sea with fabulous views. All the rooms are beautifully appointed and nothing has been spared for your comfort. We had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent with both the... More
