near train station, about 10minute walk. very nice food and staff treat you like a friend. excellent chef we had a 4 course meal and couldn't fault it.breakfast is very nice an plenty of choices from cereals to cooked meals. rooms are large and plenty of cupboards an draws which was nice. good sized bath and comfy bed.would stay again... Spent one night at Corbyn Head Hotel and that was long enough. Although the staff were friendly and helpful the hotel lacked lustre and was very dated and grubby. I attended a "Lunch" of ex workmates at the Torquay Rugby Club (I say lunch but no food was consumed!) I had foreseen the likely out come so booked an overnight stay at the Corbyn Head Hotel. Just had 3 nights in this fabulous hotel food is up to any 4 star hotel . The staff our all friendly and helpfull espically angie who was so helpfull with our booking . Room was beautiful and had lovely views can't wait for our next visit.

Staff friendly and always helpful,nothing too much trouble.Food amazing,service outstanding.Room well looked after,clean and well presented at all times.Can't wait to return.Hotel not too far from Torquay centre .Transport at hand bus,train within walking distance. Great views from our room and from bar and restaurant.
