Pleasantly surprised when the owners met us at the front gate. Both young and energetic and very willing to please. We have just returned home after having a fabulous week at the Acorn. The room was excellent, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was superb, very filling. Filthy disgusting showers and cramped rooms no evening service at all, got locked out and it took 20 minutes to get another guest to answer door (this was before 10 pm)no sign of staff. very noisy with cars and drunks in street all night more
