Nice hotel with lots of historical charm. The public areas are lovely with great views over the bay, especially in the bar where the food was tasty. This was nice given the bad weather we had whilst there meant we didn't have to leave the hotel. We booked a deal through secret escapes that included 3 course evening meal and... More

We have just spent two days at this lovely gracious, spacious, welcoming hotel. The public rooms are wonderful and well maintained. We had booked a deluxe sea view and were thrilled to be upgraded to a suite which was comfortable and spacious plus it had a spectacular view over Torbay. We ate dinner in the restaurant and it was very... More

Two friends and myself took advantage of a very good offer from the Hotel Collection. We had individual sea view rooms. The rooms are very spacious. The staff are very friendly, mostly East European. I would single out Peter on Reception for special praise. He valiently held the desk when a co-worker phoned in sick. He was very friendly and... More

We stayed at the Imperial Hotel last week for 3 nights. It was actually for a 2-day spa break, but we decided to add a 3rd night and also upgrade to a sea view room. This proved to have been a wise decision as we had a lovely large deluxe room with balcony, overlooking the fabulous bay. This hotel really... More

Great grown up place to stay- amazing views. We had deluxe King room with balcony looking out to sea. Balcony equipped with loungers chairs and tables. The room was huge and spacious. Loads of storage, good range of tea/coffee, dressing gowns slippers etc Clean bright bathroom. This hotel is not modern and some might find it dated but it does... More

A beautiful hotel with great facilities and an amazing view while you eat breakfast. The pool, sauna, steam room , and gym being included in our room made this great value too Melissa on reception was fantastic at sorting an issue we had. She really went the extra mile.
