Stayed here a few times many years ago and I don't think anything has been done since, which is a great shame as the building itself and the location and views are superb. we had a lovely mini-break at the Imperial.Thanks to all the very friendly staff,especially all the restaurant staff who were very attentive to 3 oap's!! The hotel was wheelchair friendly,a great help for us with our soon to be 90 year old mum . O.K so its not the managements fault that in The 1970's someone ripped off the Edwardian exterior and turned it into a Soviet Style concrete block but first impressions don't really help.
