Just returned from a wet and windy weekend in Torquay. The Brantwood is very basic the bedroom and bathroom are very dated and with no heating in the ensuite (had to leave the door open to utilise the heat from the bedroom) Chris and Catherine are however very welcoming and the breakfast which is included in the price was very... A very pleasant and comfortable stay at the Brantwood. Chris and Catherine were very warm and friendly hosts. Room very spacious and clean. We stayed for 2 nights to relax and explore Torquay and Brantwood was a good base, walking distance to the harbour , restaurants and high street. The breakfast both mornings were freshly prepared and delicious. Would highly... More

We were this weekend and it was a shame because if they had been from the beginning the right room probably would have given them 4 or even 5 points. We had a proper welcome but the room was a disaster , nothing more enter musty smell, the mattress of ancient springs that we are nailed and made noise ,... More

Have just returned from a very pleasant 3 night stay at the Brantwood B&B. We booked very last minute and went on reviews from Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed. It is a good base from which to explore the area being close to train station, bus stops and the promenade. Hosts Chris and Catherine were very welcoming, friendly and... More

Me and my partner had a lovely stay at Brantwood B&B. Catherine, the owner, was so helpful and friendly. Very comfortable bed and beautiful room. I had the full English vegetarian breakfast in the morning which is one of the best I've ever had. Thoroughly recommend this B&B!

This is the second time I have stayed at The Brantwood, both Chris and Catherine are the perfect hosts. Could not do enough for me, room extremely comfortable, breakfast as Chris is a qualified chef you would not get a better breakfast in Torquay. Highly recommend for leisure and business. ideally located. I will be booking again

This small private B&B is located at the end of a dead-end road in an area of similar small guest houses. It is a few minutes walk to Torre Abbey, Riviera Centre and Abbey Sands; a bit further to the train stations at Torre or Torquay. Like many other hotels it specifies private car parking; unlike many this one actually... More

I was made to feel at home straightaway by Catherine and Chris. a very pleasant well-run hotel was topped off by the best breakfast ever. The room was light and airy with plenty of space. The sea front was a ten minute walk away, while the hotel itself was located at the end of a pleasant tree-lined avenue. Why go... More

What a great time we had at Brantwood, run by a friendly family, lovely clean good sized rooms and a breakfast that is better than most large expensive hotels, very impressed with the meals, all round great place to stay, I will definitely be back.
