From the moment I arrived Maz and Colin made me feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely room overlooking the garden. The location is elevated but much of Torquay is and for me adds to its charm. There is a great deal of information supplied in the hotel and as I said earlier Maz and Colin are... More

My son and his carer stay at barclay court regularly as they like it so much. The hosts Maz and Colin are really nice and so accommodating. The rooms are well furnished and are spotlessly clean with comfortable beds with lovely bedding. For breakfast there is good variety of cereals yogurts and to follow you can a good full English... Lovely and homely. Nothing too much trouble - excellent service. Spotlessly clean and the breakfast was superb. The beds are SO comfortable! Someone said the rooms were on the small side - it's only for sleeping so I can't see a problem - they weren't that small anyway! Plenty of drawer/wardrobe space. "A home from home".

The hosts are very very friendly. When we reached Torquay, we could not manage to reach the B&B with our Sat Nav despite phone instructions from the host. But the host drove down to where we were and directed us to the B&B :) The rooms were comfortable, clean although a little on the smaller side. The breakfast was brilliant!!... More

I had a great experience here. Quaint victorian style lodgings with super great service. I especially love the royal English breakfasts served with sunny smiles. A definite must stay if visiting Torquay

Always a little nervous booking a last minute B&B, after all, when everyone else is booked up, you expect that maybe only the dregs are left. How lucky were we then to find this gem?! The family room we booked turned out actually to be a little family suite, which was perfect as instead of having to share, there were... More
