Lovely hotel & staff, Nice clean rooms, Great breakfast, & reasonable prices. Great location, just a short walk to the beach, a nice pub & the town. What more can you want?. We will certainly be back.

We actually stayed in April not June but I wanted to let people know how lovely this place is. (My husband and brother stayed there again later in the year). We were a party of six and booked 4 rooms - all different in style but all very nice and clean. We had a very large room with a sea... More

We stayed 22nd to 25 Aug family of 4, 2 adults and a 6 and 2 yr old. On arrival staff couldnt find our booking but was soon sorted out and we had a nice family room on the first floor. The double and single beds were really comfortable. A travel cot was provided not very fresh looking, by the... More

Booked this very last minute. We were really struggling to find any accomodation in Devon that had 2 rooms (1 a family room) available. Morningside were very helpful, they looked at how they could rearrange bookings to accommodate us for 3nights. Our rooms were very comfortable & spacious, with a sea view, (though it was a limited view, very comfy... More

Due to health reasons we had a ground floor room overlooking the car park but the facilities were just as good as the sea view rooms we had previously occupied. Breakfast was first class and the selection of snacks and drinks available during... More

Travelling with elderly parents we asked for ground floor rooms. Lovely view over babbacombe downs to the sea. Two minutes to the cliff railway & cafe. Hanbury's fish & chips round the corner.Beautiful big rooms and refurbished bathroom with walk in shower. Small additions would have made it perfect - two squashy armchairs for the parents so they didn't fight... More
