I stayed here with our 12 year old son from the 6th to the 8th of August. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel very welcome by Phil who let us in. Our room, what can I say? It was lovely. None of this uniform all rooms look the same, like you get with the large chains.... More

The rooms are of an adequate size, and the pictures on the website were taken by a professional photographer,so have not been enhanced in any way and are a true representation. Also as they had only booked 2 double rooms for 4 adults, they were told at point of booking that one was a small double, they should not have had... More

Stayed here for two nights and was pleasantly surprised. The owners were welcoming, the rooms very clean and the breakfast was very good too. An ideal place to stay for a break in Torquay as it's only a short walk to the town centre.

My husband and I stayed at The Wayfarer for a 4 night break and may I say it was the best. We were welcomed at the door by Phil, the owner, and were pleasantly surprised how clean, modern and well presented the building was. We were taken to our room which was nicely decorated and well presented with even chocolates... More

I think this is very unfair. The b &b has been inspected by visit britain, who has assessed it as being of a high standard and he should know he has seen hundreds yearly,we are not 5 star or boutique, none the less for a 3-4 star rating, what we provide has been deemed very good.We have also been inspected by the tourist board,who... I stayed here August 2013 with my son and my parents for four nights. The guys were very welcoming and our rooms were superb and very clean. The breakfasts were delicious, we had the full English breakfast every day! Plenty of tea and toast too. Excellent value for money. Our hosts couldn't do enough for us and we would definitely...
