If ever there was a candidate for no 1 B&B in Torquay this is it. Tao welcomed me after walking the coastal path with a pot of coffee and was charming and solicitous throughout my stay. The accommodation was small but perfect in every way and the decor is plush. Breakfast was superb and the dining room is luxuriously appointed.... More

We were visiting Torquay to go to our friends' wedding and needed somewhere to stay for a couple of nights. We found Walnut Lodge through TripAdvisor and were impressed by the ratings and reviews, so we had a look at the website and decided to book. On the day we arrived after a lengthy journey from Sheffield, we were greeted... More

On entering Walnut Lodge. we were greet warmly by Tao, for whom, nothing is too much trouble. It is an establishment like no other (certainly, none we've stayed in) It is in good position for getting out and about in Torquay & surrounding area. No shortage of things to do or places to go.We have relatives in the area and... More

Clean, comfortable, value for money and a wonderful host! Well recommended. Just out of town but if like us you fancy a walk or jump in a taxi its no problem. Rooms are impeccably clean and all the usual comforts, lovely bathroom toiletries. The lady who owns the place(?) was wonderful, nothing was too much trouble and over breakfast apart... More

Had 2 nights here while visiting the local attractions, modern, clean, friendly B&B that I would highly recommend. Good location for walking to restaurants, warn, friendly host and a very nice cooked breakfast.

The most comfortable B&B I have ever had the pleasure to stay in. Tao and Brendan really bend over backwards to ensure your stay is magical. Tea and coffee on arrival and help with luggage and local knowledge. Rooms are clean & furnished to an extremely high standard. Full english & continental breakfast offered, well cooked and extremely fast. I... More
