An amazing friendly run Guest House, in a great location, only 15mins walk to harbour and with bus stop right outside, we were able to go to all the other beaches around. Kerry and Chris who run Heathcliff are just so friendly and nothing is too much trouble, they have a great sense of humour and create the perfect holiday... More

From the first phone call to Heathcliff House I knew it was the place to stay for me and a friend. Nothing was too much trouble, we were staying for a car show in Newton Abbot so decided to have a look and see what was available and came across this gem of a place. All other hotels and B&B's... I recently had to spend 2 weeks in Torquay for work. Fortunately I booked my stay at Heathcliff House, which made being away from home much easier. Chris, Kerry & Yvonne are wonderful hosts and the rooms are clean and comfortable. I didn't have any issues during my stay but I'm sure they would have been dealt with straight away.... More

It was with some trepidation that I entered Heathcliff House. I have always booked Hotels for our group of pensioners but on this occasion I couldn`t find one that was suitable and with good reviews. Having read the Heathcliff House reviews I decided that it must be worth a gamble As soon as we entered we were met by Chris... More

From the moment we got there to when we left we were made to feel welcome. Friendly atmosphere, calm and casual, and very professional. The room was brilliantly clean; the breakfast is one of the best I have had away from home. Great hosts, great hotel, thank you Chris, Kerry, and Yvonne. This will be our first choice hotel to... Our stay at the Heathcliff House was brilliant, met by Chris and Kerry on arrival, an extremely warm welcome with a very pleasant, clean room to top it off. The breakfast menu was filled with a wide selection of traditional food, plus a taste of America. I would recommend the eggs benedict to anyone without doubt. Excellent value for money,... More

Heathcliff House welcomed us (4 medical doctors from Kenya) on a learning exchange to Torbay Hospital. We had been before but had experienced nothing like this. The welcome was huge, the service... nothing was too much trouble. The fun... the best I have had for some time. Although this was a working trip we had time to relax and enjoy... More
