We stayed here for 7 nights. We paid extra for a front facing room, which was large with a lovely view over the tennis courts and out to sea. The room was very clean but the bed cover looked very old and worn, also did not like having a blanket instead of a duvet, and the shower curtain had mould... More

We went on a 9 day coach holiday with Robinsons. The hotel was average, the food was ok but only small portions. The beds were not very well made but were clean. The floors throughout the hotel creaked and the bathroom floor sloped downwards at the end. the hotel was clean and tidy and the staff were very friendly. I dont... More

The creaking floors in this hotel are a great put off we were awoken every morning at 6-30 by the person above us walking across the floor. The coach driver was really good and well above average as a courier. The bedroom was dated as are most older hotels but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. Our room was... More

We stayed here on a 3 day KGB break and enjoyed our stay! Our room was really nice with a great view of the Torquay Tennis Centre and a good sea view. The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Robinson's coach holiday - not really our thing but turned out really well. Coach driver excellent, caring and helpful taking us on scenic historic tours. Hotel although only 3star was better than expected. Staff very pleasant and friendly. Meals gave several choices and were plentiful. Although an old Georgian building the room was very comfortable and large with plenty of... More

I have stayed at this Hotel 4 times now and am going back this July. I think its good value for money. I do use the pools, sauna and gym and also like to laze in the large conservatory with a glass of wine and a good book after a busy day out in the sea air! the rooms are... More

We found the management team very friendly, that was the only good thing about the hotel. The room was a good size but the bed was very uncomfortable, and the food was awful. We were on a KGB deal. The hotel has two dinning rooms one small and one larger. We were in the smaller of the two, and I... More
