My husband paid for a 4 day stay at this hotel for me and a friend with Just Go holidays. May I say that apart from the first 2 nights entertainment the rest served by this Hotel was less than average. My main complaint was the food which at best was below average even for me where I try not... More

All I can say is the hotel is in need of drastic modernisation. Myself, husband and two teenage daughters stayed here last night(23/08/2014), we should have been allowed to view the rooms before booking and paying!!! The rooms are absolutely disgusting- they are extremely dated, the carpets had stains all over it. The bedding didn't look very clean and smelt... More

I have recently returned from a 2-night stay with my partner and two children. Note, we booked here, as the Travelodge was full, as we really only wanted a bed for the night, not a leisure experience (we were visiting family). We were allocated a room at the front of the hotel, with an enormous balcony and amazing views of... More

Our twin room although quite spacious was very shabby. No duvets just old blankets. The dining room is cramped and very hot if seated by the large windows with no air conditioning or windows that open. The breakfast menu is very good but evening meals are very poor - frozen food and overcooked vegetables. The hotel is run down and... More

We were allocated a room which was very small and shabby with a small high up window which opened onto a roof and buildings and could only be reached by standing on a dressing table. The bathroom window would not open. The bedroom window had to be kept shut because of a generator outside. When we complained to the hotel... More

We had a lovely trip. We phoned ahead of our arrival and requested a downstairs room as my wife is disabled. This was immediately sorted. The hotel serves as a great base to visit local sights. The views were stunning, the room comfortable and the food was very nice - there was sufficient choice and plenty of it. The hotel... More

This hotel is very good value. Décor is dated but our bathroom was newly done up with large walk in shower (no bath.) Food is hearty but unexciting, we only had dinner on the first night and then ate out. Breakfasts are good but the dining room was overcrowded, too many tables squashed together. Entertainment in the evening was very... More

The location is perfect with breathtaking views. Terrible service, rude reception staff. Communal toilets dirty and smelly. Peeling wallpaper throughout the hotel. Bedroom was sufficiently clean. We stayed for three nights and did not get towels changed during this time. The balcony was filthy with cobwebs hanging off the walls. Breakfast waiting on staff however were very pleasant. The breakfast... More

We have stayed before at the Sefton and we had booked for just one night to see a show at the Babbacombe Theatre. On arrival at reception the manager greeted us in what I can only say was a surly manner and no pleasantries at all.just gave us the keys and told us the breakfast times. The same attitude has been...
